ADP5350CB-EVALZ
Analog Devices Inc.
The ADP5350, a power management IC (PMIC), combines one high performance buck regulator for single Li-Ion/Li-Ion polymer battery charging, a fuel gauge, a highly programmable boost regulator for LED backlight illumination, and three 150 mA LDO regulators. The ADP5350 operates in trickle charge mode and in constant current (CC) and constant voltage (CV) fast charge mode. It features an internal field effect transistor (FET) that permits battery isolation on the system power side. The ADP5350 fuel gauge is a space-saving and low current consuming solution. It is optimal for rechargeable Li-Ion battery-powered devices, and features a voltage-based, battery SOC measurement function. The ADP5350 boost regulator operates at a 1.5 MHz switching frequency. It can be operated as a constant voltage regulator or as a supplemental constant current regulator for multiple LED backlight drivers. The ADP5350 LED drivers can support a wide range of LED backlight configurations, either multiple LEDs in parallel or in series. The ADP5350 low dropout (LDO) regulators are optimized to operate at low shutdown current and quiescent current to extend battery life. The device also operates as a load switch that can be fully turned off or on.The I2C-compatible interface enables the programmability of all parameters, including status bit readback for operation monitoring and safety control. The ADP5350 operates over the ?40?C to +125?C junction temperature range and is available in a 32-lead, 5 mm ? 5 mm LFCSP package and a 32-ball, 3 mm ? 3 mm WLCSP package.Applications Rechargeable Li-Ion and Li-Ion polymer battery-powered devices Portable consumer devices Portable medical devices Portable instrumentation devices Wearable devices

ADAR1000EVAL1Z
Analog Devices Inc.
The ADAR1000 is a 4-channel, X and Ku frequency band, beamforming core chip for phased arrays. This device operates in half-duplex between receive and transmit modes. In receive mode, input signals pass through four receive channels and are combined and output at the common RF_IO pin. In transmit mode, the RF_IO input signal is split and passes through the four transmit channels. In both modes, the ADAR1000 provides a ?31 dB gain adjustment range and a full 360? phase adjustment range in each radio frequency (RF) channel, with 6-bit resolution (less than ?0.5 dB and 2.8?, respectively).A simple 4-wire serial port interface (SPI) controls all of the on-chip registers. In addition, two address pins allow SPI control of up to four devices on the same serial lines. Dedicated transmit and receive load pins also provide synchronization of all ADAR1000 chips in the same array, and a single pin controls fast switching between the transmit and receive modes. The ADAR1000 is fabricated in a silicon-germanium, bipolar CMOS (BiCMOS) process. The device is available in a compact, 88-terminal, 7 mm ? 7 mm, LGA package and is specified from ?40?C to +85?C.APPLICATIONS Phased array radar Satellite communications systems

What is a .tmap File? (Rev. A)
Texas Instruments
The PowerLAN™ Master Gateway Battery Management Controller uses a file identified by the .tmap file extension to load configuration parameters. This file serves to configure the operation of the controller to the specific application. Examples of configurable parameters are number of parallel and series cells in the pack number of temperature sensors and state-of-charge indication (SOCi) dis

Feedback Plots Define Op Amp AC Performance
Texas Instruments
Feedback plots simplify the analysis of an op amp's closed-loop AC performance by showing bandwidth and stability conditions as a function of the op amp's gain and phase response. These plots also provide insight into noise performance and the special feedback requirements of circuits such as integrating converters photodiode amplifiers composite amplifiers and active feedback circuits.

ADM8612-EVALZ
Analog Devices Inc.
The ADM8611 /?ADM8612?/?ADM8613?/?ADM8614?/?ADM8615?are voltage supervisory circuits that monitor power supply voltage levels and code execution integrity in microprocessor-based systems. Apart from providing power-on reset signals, an on-chip watchdog timer can reset the microprocessor if it fails to strobe within a preset timeout period. A reset signal can also be asserted by an external push-button through a manual reset input. The ultralow power consumption of these devices makes them suitable for power efficiency sensitive systems, such as battery-powered portable devices and energy meters. The features of each member of the device family are shown in Table 9 in the data sheet. Each device subdivides into submodels with differences in factory preset voltage monitoring threshold options. In the range of 2 V to 4.63 V, 10 options are available for the ADM8611. In the range of 2.32 V to 4.63 V, five options are available for both the ADM8613 and ADM8614. A separate supply input allows the ADM8612 and ADM8615 to monitor 20 different low voltage levels from 0.5 V to 1.9 V. Not all device options are available as standard models. The ADM8611, ADM8612, ADM8613, and ADM8615 can reset on demand through the manual reset input. The watchdog function on the ADM8613, ADM8614, and ADM8615 monitors the heartbeat of the microprocessor through the WDI pin. The ADM8613 and ADM8614 have a watchdog disable input, which allows the user to disable the watchdog function, if required. The ADM8614 also has a watchdog timeout extension input, allowing the watchdog timeout to be extended from 1.6 sec to 100 sec.The ADM8611/ADM8612/ADM8613/ADM8614/ADM8615 are available in a 6-ball, 1.46 mm ? 0.96 mm WLCSP. These devices are specified over the temperature range of ?40?C to +85?C.??APPLICATIONS Portable/battery-operated equipment Microprocessor systems Energy metering Energy harvesting
