MAX3051ESA+T

Part Number : MAX3051ESA+T

Analog Devices Inc.
The MAX3051 interfaces between the CAN protocol controller and the physical wires of the bus lines in a controller area network (CAN). The MAX3051 provides differential transmit capability to the bus and differential receive capability to the CAN controller. The MAX3051 is primarily intended for +3.3V single-supply applications that do not require the stringent fault protection specified by the automotive industry (ISO 11898).The MAX3051 features four different modes of operation: high-speed, slope-control, standby, and shutdown mode. High-speed mode allows data rates up to 1Mbps. The slope-control mode can be used toprogram the slew rate of the transmitter for data rates of up to 500kbps. This reduces the effects of EMI, thus allowing the use of unshielded twisted or parallel cable. In standby mode, the transmitter is shut off and the receiver is pulled high, placing the MAX3051 in low-current mode. In shutdown mode, the transmitter and receiver are switched off.The MAX3051 input common-mode range is from -7V to +12V, exceeding the ISO 11898 specification of -2V to +7V. These features, and the programmable slew-rate limiting, make the part ideal for nonautomotive, harsh environments. The MAX3051 is available in 8-pin SO and SOT23 packages and operates over the -40°C to +85°C extended temperature range.ApplicationsConsumer ApplicationsIndustrial Control and NetworksPrinters JetLinkTelecom Backplanes

MAX3054ASD+

Part Number : MAX3054ASD+

Analog Devices Inc.
The MAX3054/MAX3055/MAX3056 are interfaces between the protocol controller and the physical wires of the bus lines in a controller area network (CAN). The devices provide differential transmit capability and switch to single-wire mode if certain fault conditions occur. The MAX3054/MAX3055/MAX3056 guarantee full wake-up capability during failure modes. The extended fault-protected voltage range of CANH and CANL bus lines of ±80V. Current-limiting and thermalprotection circuits protect the transmitter output stage against overcurrent faults to prevent destruction of the transmitter output stage. The CANH and CANL lines are also protected against electrical transients that may occur in rugged environments. The transceiver provides three low-power modes that can be entered and exited through pins active-low STB and EN. An output INH pin can be used for deactivation of an external voltage regulator. The MAX3054/MAX3055/MAX3056 are designed to provide optimal operation for a specified data rate. The MAX3054 is ideal for high data rates of 250kbps. The MAX3055 is used for data rates of 125kbps and the MAX3056 is designed for 40kbps applications. For the 40kbps and 125kbps versions, a built-in slope-control feature allows the use of unshielded cables, and receiver input filters guarantee high noise immunity.ApplicationsIndustrial HVAC

MAX312FESE+

Part Number : MAX312FESE+

Analog Devices Inc.
The MAX312F/MAX313F/MAX314F are quad, single-pole/single-throw (SPST), fault-protected analog switches. They are pin compatible with the industry-standard nonprotected MAX312/MAX313/MAX314. These switches feature fault-protected inputs and rail-to-rail signal-handling capability. All analog signal terminals are protected from overvoltage faults up to ±36V with power on and up to ±40V with power off. During a fault condition, the COM_, NO_, or NC_ terminal becomes an open circuit and only microamperes of leakage current flow from the source. On-resistance is 10Ω (max) and is matched between switches to 0.5Ω (max) at +25°C.The MAX312F has four normally closed (NC) switches. The MAX313F has four normally open (NO) switches. The MAX314F has two NC and two NO switches. These CMOS switches operate with dual power supplies ranging from ±4.5V to ±20V or a single supply between +9V and +36V. All digital inputs have +0.8V and +2.4V logic thresholds, ensuring both TTL and CMOS logic compatibility when using ±15V or a single +12V supply. For supply voltages of ±5V, +5V, and +3V, refer to the MAX4711/MAX4712/MAX4713 data sheet.ApplicationsAutomated Test Equipment (ATE)AvionicsCommunication SystemsData AcquisitionHot SwapIndustrial and Process Control SystemsRedundant/Backup SystemsSignal RoutingTest Equipment

MAX314FESE+T

Part Number : MAX314FESE+T
