The AD5930 is a waveform generator with programmable frequency sweep and output burst capability. Utilizing embedded digital processing that allows enhanced frequency control, the device generates synthesized analog or digital frequency-stepped waveforms. Because frequency profiles are preprogrammed, continuous write cycles are eliminated and thereby free up valuable DSP/microcontroller resources. Waveforms start from a known phase and are incremented phase continuously, which allows phase shifts to be easily determined. Consuming only 8 mA, the AD5930 provides a convenient low power solution to waveform generation.The AD5930 can be operated in a variety of modes. In continuous output mode, the device outputs the required frequency for a defined length of time and then steps to the next frequency. The length of time the device outputs a particular frequency is either preprogrammed and the device increments the frequency automatically, or, alternatively, is incremented externally via the CTRL pin. In burst mode, the device outputs its frequency for a length of time and then returns to midscale for a further predefined length of time before stepping to the next frequency. When the MSBOUT pin is enabled, a digital output is generated.To program the device, the user enters the start frequency, the increment step size, the number of increments to be made, and the time interval that the part outputs each frequency. The frequency sweep profile is initiated, started, and executed by toggling the CTRL pin.A number of different sweep profiles are offered. Frequencies can be stepped in triangular-sweep mode, which continuously sweeps up and down through the frequency range. Alternatively, in saw-sweep mode, the frequency is swept up through the frequency range, but returns to the initial frequency before executing the sweep again. In addition, a single frequency or burst can be generated without any sweep.The AD5930 is written to via a 3-wire serial interface, which operates at clock rates up to 40 MHz. The device operates with a power supply from 2.3 V to 5.5 V. Note that AVDD and DVDD are independent of each other and can be operated from different voltages. The AD5940 and AD5941 are high precision, low power analog front ends (AFEs) designed for portable applications that require high precision, electrochemical-based measurement techniques, such as amperometric, voltammetric, or impedance measurements. The AD5940/AD5941 is designed for skin impedance and body impedance measurements, and works with the AD8233 AFE in a complete bioelectric or biopotential measurement system. The AD5940/AD5941 is designed for electrochemical toxic gas sensing.The AD5940/AD5941 consist of two high precision excitation loops and one common measurement channel, which enables a wide capability of measurements of the sensor under test. The first excitation loop consists of an ultra low power, dual-output string, digital-to-analog converter (DAC), and a low power, low noise potentiostat. One output of the DAC controls the noninverting input of the potentiostat, and the other output controls the noninverting input of the transimpedance amplifier (TIA). This low power excitation loop is capable of generating signals from dc to 200 Hz.The second excitation loop consists of a 12-bit DAC, referred to as the high speed DAC. This DAC is capable of generating high frequency excitation signals up to 200 kHz.The AD5940/AD5941 measurement channel features a 16-bit, 800 kSPS, multichannel successive approximation register (SAR) analog-to-digital converter (ADC) with input buffers, a built in antialias filter, and a programmable gain amplifier (PGA). An input multiplexer (mux) in front of the ADC allows the user to select an input channel for measurement. These input channels include multiple external current inputs, external voltage inputs, and internal channels. The internal channels allow diagnostic measurements of the internal supply voltages, die temperature, and reference voltages.The current inputs include two TIAs with programmable gain and load resistors for measuring different sensor types. The first TIA, referred to as the low power TIA, measures low bandwidth signals. The second TIA, referred to as the high speed TIA, measures high bandwidth signals up to 200 kHz.An ultra low leakage, programmable switch matrix connects the sensor to the internal analog excitation and measurement blocks. This matrix provides an interface for connecting external transimpedance amplifier resistors (RTIAs) and calibration resistors. The matrix can also be used to multiplex multiple electronic measurement devices to the same wearable electrodes.A precision 1.82 V and 2.5 V on-chip reference source is available. The internal ADC and DAC circuits use this on-chip reference source to ensure low drift performance for the 1.82 V and 2.5 V peripherals.The AD5940/AD5941 measurement blocks can be controlled via direct register writes through the serial peripheral interface (SPI) interface, or, alternatively, by using a preprogrammable sequencer, which provides autonomous control of the AFE chip. 6 kB of static random access memory (SRAM) is partitioned for a deep data first in, first out (FIFO) and command FIFO. Measurement commands are stored in the command FIFO and measurement results are stored in the data FIFO. A number of FIFO related interrupts are available to indicate when the FIFO is full.A number of general-purpose inputs/outputs (GPIOs) are available and controlled using the AFE sequencer. The AFE sequencer allows cycle accurate control of multiple external sensor devices.The AD5940/AD5941 operate from a 2.8 V to 3.6 V supply and are specified over a temperature range of ?40?C to +85?C. The AD5940 is packaged in a 56-lead, 3.6 mm ? 4.2 mm WLCSP. The LTM4616 is a complete dual 2-phase 8A per channel switch mode DC/DC power regulator system in a 15mm ? 15mm surface mount LGA or BGA package. Included in the package are the switching controller, power FETs, inductor and all support components. Operating from an input voltage range of 2.7V to 5.5V, the LTM4616 supports two outputs within a voltage range of 0.6V to 5V, each set by a single external resistor. The LT3492 is a triple output DC/DC converter designed to operate as a constant-current source and is ideal for driving LEDs. The LT3492 works in buck, boost or buck-boost mode. The LT3492 uses a fixed frequency, current mode architecture resulting in stable operation over a wide range of supply and output voltages. A frequency adjust pin allows the user to program switching frequency between 330kHz and 2.1MHz to optimize efficiency and external component size. The external PWM input provides 3000:1 LED dimming on each channel. Each of the three channels has a built-in gate driver to drive an external LED-disconnect P-channel MOSFET, allowing high dimming range. The output current range of each channel of the LT3492 is programmed with an external sense resistor. The LT3011 is a high voltage, micropower, low dropout linear regulator. The device is capable of supplying 50mA of output current with a dropout voltage of 300mV. Designed for use in battery-powered high voltage systems, the low quiescent current (46?A operating and 1?A in shutdown) is well controlled in dropout, making the LT3011 an ideal choice.The LT3011 includes a PWRGD flag to indicate output regulation. The delay between regulated output level and flag indication is programmable with a single capacitor. The LT3011 also has the ability to operate with very small output capacitors; it is stable with only 1?F on the output. Small ceramic capacitors can be used without the addition of any series resistance (ESR) as is common with other regulators. The device operates either with a common input supply or independent input supplies for each channel, over an input voltage range of 1.8V to 20V. Each output supplies up to 500mA of output current with a typical dropout voltage of 300mV. Quiescent current is well controlled in dropout. With an external 10nF bypass capacitor, output noise is only 20?VRMS over a 10Hz to 100kHz bandwidth. Designed for use in battery-powered systems, the low 55?A quiescent current per channel makes it an ideal choice. In shutdown, quiescent current drops to less than 1?A. Shutdown control is independent for each channel, allowing for flexible power management.The LT3029 optimizes stability and transient response with low ESR ceramic output capacitors, requiring a minimum of only 3.3?F. The LT6604-15 consists of two matched, fully differential amplifiers, each with a 4th order, 15MHz lowpass ?lter. The ?xed frequency lowpass ?lter approximates a Chebyshev response. By integrating a ?lter and a differential amplifier, distortion and noise are made exceptionally low. At unity gain, the measured in band signal-to-noise ratio is an impressive 76dB. At higher gains, the input referred noise decreases, allowing the part to process smaller input differential signals without significantly degrading the signal-to-noise ratio.Gain and phase are highly matched between the two channels. Gain for each channel is independently programmed using two external resistors. The LT6604-15 enables level shifting by providing an adjustable output common mode voltage, making it ideal for directly interfacing to ADCs.The LT6604-15 is fully specified for 3V operation.
