CC2531 USB Dongle Reference Design
Texas Instruments
CC2531 USB Dongle Reference Design
Texas Instruments
The CC2531USB-RD provides a PC interface to 802.15.4 / ZigBee applications. The dongle can be plugged directly into your PC and can be used as an IEEE 802.15.4 packet sniffer or for other purposes. With the CC2531 USB Firmware Library available on the web you can develop your own software to utilize this part. To program the dongle: an external programmer (e.g. the CC debugger or SmartRF05EB) is required. This is not included in the kit. The USB dongle can be used as a reference module for prototyping of USB devices and for testing the RF performance of CC2531 with a small size PCB antenna.
Single Phase and DC Embedded Metering (Server Power Monitor)
Texas Instruments
Single Phase and DC Embedded Metering (Server Power Monitor)
Texas Instruments
This design implements a high accuracy single phase embedded metering application using an MSP430 MCU. This EVM has built-in support of measuring AC voltage: current: active power: reactive power: apparent power: frequency: power factor: voltage THD: current THD: fundamental voltage: fundamental current: fundamental power and DC voltage: DC current: DC active power. It has the ability to detect the input voltage to work as DC or AC mode. It also is equipped with the capability to compensate the effect of the wire resistance and the EMI filter capacitor so that the reading of voltage and power matches the reading of an external meter when EMI filter is connected to the as input side.
DN102 -- SoC Temperature Sensor (Rev. A)
Texas Instruments
DN102 -- SoC Temperature Sensor (Rev. A)
Texas Instruments
This design note includes descriptions and a code example for easily measuring the temperature of a device by using the internal temperature sensor connected to the ADC. The code is suitable for the CC1110 CC1111 CC2430 CC2431 CC2510 and CC2511 system on chip (SOC) devices.
CC1111 USB Dongle Reference Design
Texas Instruments
CC1111 USB Dongle Reference Design
Texas Instruments
The CC1111 USB dongle reference design demonstrates how to make a compact USB dongle with the CC1111 System-on-Chip: a chip antenna in conjunction with a special PCB trace and single sided components mounting.Schematics and layout files for the CC1111 USB dongle is included in the reference design. The reference design demonstrates good techniques for CC1111 decoupling and RF layout. For optimum RF performance: these parts should be copied accurately. This is a 4-layer reference design with a discrete balun and a compact antenna solution. The antenna solution is recommended for applications operating in the 868/915 MHz frequency range requiring a small antenna solution.
AM437x Discrete Power Reference Design
Texas Instruments
AM437x Discrete Power Reference Design
Texas Instruments
The Sitara AM437x simplified power sequence feature provides flexibility to power designers. This reference design implementation is a BOM-optimized discrete power solution for the AM437x processor with a minimal number of discrete ICs and basic feature set. The solution represents a baseline of a discrete power solution that can be extended for additional features and capabilities of the AM437x processor.
Adjustable 3.3-V High-Efficiency Boost Converter
Texas Instruments
Adjustable 3.3-V High-Efficiency Boost Converter
Texas Instruments
The Texas Instruments TPS6101x evaluation modules (EVM) helps designers evaluate the different operating modes and the performance of high-efficiency boost converters. If any other output voltage is to be evaluated: the TPS61010 adjustable version can be set up to provide an output voltage between 1.5 V and 3.3 V. Only the feedback resistor divider has to be adjusted. Also: other fixed output voltage versions of the devices can be easily evaluated using the EVM. The TPS6101x has an input voltage range between 0.9 V and VO. The maximum output current is at least 100 mA depending on the input voltage.
Wide Input Voltage Range Automotive Cuk LED Driver Reference Design (35V @ 0.75A)
Texas Instruments
Wide Input Voltage Range Automotive Cuk LED Driver Reference Design (35V @ 0.75A)
Texas Instruments
PMP6012 reference design presents the TPS92690Q1 DC-DC controller driving a 18V to 35V string of LEDs at 750mA of current in a Cuk configuration. The Cuk topology features continuous input and output currents which helps reduce EMI and also allows one end of the LED string to connect to common ground allowing for a single wire system.
9V – 50V input to 12V@3A: Sepic Converter
Texas Instruments
9V – 50V input to 12V@3A: Sepic Converter
Texas Instruments
It is a 36W Sepic converter designed using LM5022. The output is set to 12V and input varies from 9V to 50V. It uses a bootstrap supply to minimize losses in LM5022. It is a current mode controller.
