The AD7745/AD7746 are a high resolution, ?-? capacitance-to-digital converter (CDC). The capacitance to be measured is connected directly to the device inputs. The architecture fea-tures inherent high resolution (24-bit no missing codes, up to 21-bit effective resolution), high linearity (?0.01%), and high accuracy (?4 fF factory calibrated). The AD7745/AD7746 capacitance input range is ?4 pF (changing), while it can accept up to 17 pF common-mode capacitance (not changing), which can be balanced by a programmable on-chip, digital-to-capacitance converter (CAPDAC). The AD7745 has one capacitance input channel, while the AD7746 has two channels. Each channel can be configured as single-ended or differential. The AD7745/AD7746 are designed for floating capacitive sensors. For capacitive sensors with one plate connected to ground, the AD7747 is recommended. The parts have an on-chip temperature sensor with a resolution of 0.1?C and accuracy of ?2?C. The on-chip voltage reference and the on-chip clock generator eliminate the need for any external components in capacitive sensor applications. The parts have a standard voltage input, which together with the differential reference input allows easy interface to an external temperature sensor, such as an RTD, thermistor, or diode. The AD7745/AD7746 have a 2-wire, I2C-compatible serial interface. Both parts can operate with a single power supply from 2.7 V to 5.25 V. They are specified over the automotive temperature range of ?40?C to +125?C and are housed in a 16-lead TSSOP package. The LT3758/LT3758A are wide input range, current mode, DC/DC controllers which are capable of generating either positive or negative output voltages. They can be configured as either a boost, flyback, SEPIC or inverting converter. The LT3758/LT3758A drive a low side external N-channel power MOSFET from an internal regulated 7.2V supply. The fixed frequency, current-mode architecture results in stable operation over a wide range of supply and output voltages. The operating frequency of LT3758/LT3758A can be set with an external resistor over a 100kHz to 1MHz range, and can be synchronized to an external clock using the SYNC pin. A minimum operating supply voltage of 5.5V, and a low shutdown quiescent current of less than 1?A, make the LT3758/LT3758A ideally suited for batterypowered systems. The LT3758/LT3758A feature soft-start and frequency foldback functions to limit inductor current during start-up and output short-circuit. The LT3758A has improved load transient performance compared to the LT3758.APPLICATIONS Automotive Telecom Industrial

The LTC6905-X series of parts are precision, fixed frequency, silicon oscillators designed to minimize board space while maximizing accuracy and ease of use.Programmed at the factory to a fixed frequency, the LTC6905-X series of parts need no external trim components. An internal three-state divider allows for division of the master clock by 1, 2 or 4, providing 3 frequencies (for each device). The LTC6905-X series operate with a single 2.7V to 5.5V power supply and provide a rail-to-rail, 50% duty cycle, square wave output. The OE pin will disable the output when brought low and synchronously enable the output when brought high, avoiding pulse slivers. The four products of the LTC6905-X family are: LTC6905-133: fOSC = 133MHz, 66.7MHz, 33.3MHz LTC6905-100: fOSC = 100MHz, 50MHz, 25MHz LTC6905-96: fOSC = 96MHz, 48MHz, 24MHz LTC6905-80: fOSC = 80MHz, 40MHz, 20MHz?The LTC6905-X series of parts are designed with a factory trim option to modify the divider ratios from 1, 2, 4 to 8, 16, 32. A second trim option allows for additional master clock frequencies. The LTC1474/LTC1475 series are high efficiency step-down converters with internal P-channel MOSFET power switches that draw only 10?A typical DC supply current at no load while maintaining output voltage. The LTC1474 uses logic-controlled shutdown while the LTC1475 features pushbutton on/off.The low supply current coupled with Burst Mode? operation enables the LTC1474/LTC1475 to maintain high efficiency over a wide range of loads. These features, along with their capability of 100% duty cycle for low dropout and wide input supply range, make the LTC1474/LTC1475 ideal for moderate current (up to 300mA) battery-powered applications. The peak switch current is user-programmable with an optional sense resistor (defaults to 325mA minimum if not used) providing a simple means for optimizing the design for lower current applications. The peak current control also provides short-circuit protection and excellent start-up behavior. A low-battery detector that remains functional in shutdown is provided. The LTC1474/LTC1475 series availability in 8-lead MSOP and SO packages and need for few additional components provide for a minimum area solution.Applications Cellular Telephones and Wireless Modems 4mA to 20mA Current Loop Step-Down Converter Portable Instruments Battery-Operated Digital Devices Battery Chargers Inverting Converters Intrinsic Safety Applications

The AD8334 is an ultralow noise, quad channel linear-in-dB variable gain amplifier (VGA). Although optimized for ultrasound systems, it may be used as a low noise variable gain control in any application whose operating frequency is less than 100 MHz.Included in each channel are an ultralow noise preamp (LNA), an X-AMP? VGA with 48 dB of gain range, and a selectable gain postamp with adjustable output limiting. The LNA gain is 19 dB with a single-ended input and differential outputs. Using a single resistor, the LNA input impedance can be adjusted to match a signal source without compromising noise performance. The 48 dB gain range of the VGA makes these devices suitable for a variety of applications. Excellent bandwidth uniformity is maintained across the entire range. The gain control interface provides precise linear-in-dB scaling of 50 dB/V for control voltages between 40 mV and 1 V. Factory trim ensures excellent part-to-part and channel-to-channel gain matching. Differential signal paths result in superb second- and third-order distortion performance and low crosstalk. The AD8334 is a quad version of the single AD8331 and dual AD8332.For information on specs, see the AD8331/AD8332/AD8334 datasheet.Applications Ultrasound and sonar time-gain controls High performance automatic gain control (AGC) systems I/Q signal processing High speed, dual ADC drivers

DC2985A is a multi-output power management solution demonstration circuit, featuring the LT3380. It contains two 2.5A, two 1.5A synchronous step-down DC/DC regulators and three 300mA LDO regulators. All regulators can be enabled with external enable pins. After the first regulator is enabled, the remaining enable pins use a precision threshold to allow hardwire-programmed Power-Up Sequence. A micro-USB communication interface is integrated on board to allow software GUI to write or read the registers in LT3380 via its I2C serial port. This GUI can control regulator enables, power-down sequencing, output voltage levels, dynamic voltage scaling, operation modes, status reporting and other special functions. Refer to LT3380 data sheet for more details on the electrical specifications and the setting of its command registers.
