The LTC4227 offers ideal diode-OR and Hot Swap? functions for two power rails by controlling external Nchannel MOSFETs. MOSFETs acting as ideal diodes replace two high power Schottky diodes and the associated heat sinks, saving power and board area. A Hot Swap control MOSFET allows a board to be safely inserted and removed from a live backplane by limiting inrush current. The supply output is also protected against short-circuit faults with a fast acting current limit and internal timed circuit breaker. The LTC4227 regulates the forward voltage drop across the MOSFETs to ensure smooth current transfer from one supply to the other without oscillation. The ideal diodes turn on quickly to reduce the load voltage droop during supply switchover. If the input supply fails or is shorted, a fast turn-off minimizes reverse-current transients. The LTC4227 allows turn-on/off control, and reports fault and power good status for the supply. LT3085EDCB Demo Board | Single Resistor, Low Dropout Regulator, 1.7V ≤ VIN ≤ 25V, VOUT = 1.2V/1.8V/2.5V/3.3V/5V/Adjustable @ 500mA
Analog Devices Inc.
Demonstration circuit 1401A is an adjustable 500mA linear regulator featuring the LT3085. Architected as a precision current source and voltage follower, the LT3085 can be used in many applications requiring up to 500mA output current, adjustability down to 0V at the output and no heat sink. The device brings out the collector of the pass transistor to allow low dropout operation when used with multiple supplies. The demo board operates with an input voltage range from 1.7V to 25V (the maximum output voltage is limited by the output capacitor's voltage rating) and provides a jumper-selectable output voltage of 1.2V, 1.8V, 2.5V, 3.3V, 5V or a user-defined value. For the LT3085 to regulate properly, the voltage on the control pin (VCONTROL) must be more than approximately 1.2V greater than the output voltage.

The AD4003/AD4007/AD4011 are high accuracy, high speed, low power, 18-bit, Easy Drive, precision successive approximation register (SAR) analog-to-digital converters (ADCs) that operate from a single power supply, VDD. The reference voltage, VREF, is applied externally and can be set independent of the supply voltage. The AD4003/AD4007/AD4011 power scales linearly with throughput. Easy Drive features reduce both signal chain complexity and power consumption while enabling higher channel density. The reduced input current, particularly in high-Z mode, coupled with a long signal acquisition phase, eliminates the need for a dedicated ADC driver. Easy Drive broadens the range of companion circuitry that is capable of driving these ADCs (see Figure 2 in the data sheet).Input span compression eliminates the need to provide a negative supply to the ADC driver amplifier while preserving access to the full ADC code range. The input overvoltage clamp protects the ADC inputs against overvoltage events, minimizing disturbances on the reference pin and eliminating the need for external protection diodes. Fast device throughput up to 2 MSPS allows users to accurately capture high frequency signals and to implement oversampling techniques to alleviate the challenges associated with antialias filter designs. Decreased serial peripheral interface (SPI) clock rate requirements reduce digital input and output power consumption, broadens digital host options, and simplifies the task of sending data across digital isolation. The SPI-compatible serial user interface is compatible with 1.8 V, 2.5 V, 3 V, and 5 V logic by using the separate VIO logic supply.APPLICATIONS Automated test equipment Machine automation Medical equipment Battery-powered equipment Precision data acquisition systems Instrumentation and control systems

The LTC3621/LTC3621-2 is a high efficiency 17V, 1A synchronous monolithic step-down regulator. The switching frequency is fixed to 1MHz or 2.25MHz with a ?40% synchronizing range. The regulator features ultralow quiescent current and high efficiencies over a wide VOUT range. The step-down regulator operates from an input voltage range of 2.7V to 17V and provides an adjustable output range from 0.6V to VIN while delivering up to 1A of output current. A user-selectable mode input is provided to allow the user to trade off ripple noise for light load efficiency; Burst Mode operation provides the highest efficiency at light loads, while pulse-skipping mode provides the lowest voltage ripple. The MODE pin can also be used to allow the user to sync the switching frequency to an external clock. Single-Ended Input to Differential Output Conversion Circuit Reference Design
Texas Instruments
This TI Precision Verified Design provides the theory: component selection: simulation: PCB design: and measurement details for a single ended input to differential output circuit which converts a single ended input of +0.1V to +2.4V into a differential output of ± 2.3V on a single +2.7V supply. The output range is intentionally limited to maximize linearity. The circuit is composed of 2 amplifiers. One amplifier acts as a buffer and creates a voltage: Vout+. The second amplifier inverts the input and adds a reference voltage to generate Vout-. Both Vout+ and Vout- range from 0.1V to 2.4V. The difference: Vdiff: is the difference between Vout+ and Vout-. This makes the differential output voltage range +2.3V.
