Texas Instruments
The CC2530-SE2431L Reference Design contains schematic and layout for the CC2530-SE2431 evaluation module. The reference design demonstrates how to integrate CC2530/CC2531 and SE2431L: and the application note shows the RF performance of the combo and suggests ways for RF layout. For optimum RF performance: the schematic and layout should be copied as closely as possible. This is a 4-layer reference design with both an SMA connector for RF output matched to 50 ohm and an inverted-F PCB antenna.

The LTC2372-18 is a low noise, high speed, 8-channel 18-bit successive approximation register (SAR) ADC. Operating from a single 5V supply, the LTC2372-18 has a highly configurable, low crosstalk 8-channel input multiplexer, supporting fully differential, pseudo-differential unipolar and pseudo-differential bipolar analog input ranges. The LTC2372-18 achieves ?2.75LSB INL (maximum) in all input ranges, no missing codes at 18-bits and 100dB (fully differential)/ 95dB (pseudo-differential) SNR (typical). The LTC2372-18 has an onboard low drift (20ppm/?C max) 2.048V temperature-compensated reference and a single-shot capable reference buffer. The LTC2372-18 also has a high speed SPI-compatible serial interface that supports 1.8V, 2.5V, 3.3V and 5V logic through which a sequencer with a depth of 16 may be programmed. An internal oscillator sets the conversion time, easing external timing considerations. The LTC2372-18 dissipates only 27mW and automatically naps between conversions, leading to reduced power dissipation that scales with the sampling rate. A sleep mode is also provided to reduce the power consumption of the LTC2372-18 to 300?W for further power savings during inactive periods.Applications Programmable Logic Controllers Industrial Process Control High Speed Data Acquisition Portable or Compact Instrumentation ATE

Demonstration circuit 1771A is a single output synchronous buck converter featuring the LTC3867EUF with a 24-lead 4mm × 4mm QFN package. The input voltage range is from 4.5V to 14V and it provides 1.5V at 15A at the output. The DC1771A is configured with a sense resistor. DCR sensing circuit is optional. Using the inductor’s DCR as the sense element instead of the on-board sense resistor saves cost and board space while improving full-load efficiency over 2%, though the sense resistor provides a more accurate current limit.

The ADR1399 precision shunt reference features excellent temperature stability over a wide range of voltage, temperature, and quiescent current conditions. A temperature stabilizing loop is incorporated with the active Zener on a monolithic? substrate, which nearly eliminates changes in voltage with temperature. The subsurface Zener circuit is fully specified at a quiescent current IREF of 3 mA and offers minimal noise (1.44 ?V p-p, 0.1 Hz to 10 Hz) and excellent long-term stability (7 ppm/?kHr). The ADR1399 offers a lower output dynamic impedance (0.08 ?) than the LM399, reducing the effects of shunt resistor (RSHUNT) and the supply voltage variation on the reference output.Ideal applications for the ADR1399 include ultrastable digital voltmeters, precision calibration equipment, and ultrarepeatable analog-to-digital converters (ADCs). The simplicity of the basic pin configurations is shown in Figure 1. The 8-terminal LCC version offers force and sense pins for lower dynamic impedance and for Kelvin sensing. Table 1. 24VDC 10A eFuse and Protection Circuit for Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC)
Texas Instruments
This sub system design shows an IC based implementation of over voltage: over current: reverse current: reverse polarity and miss wire protection which is more accurate: lower power and faster compared to fuses: PTCs and diodes. Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) I/O modules connected to a field power supply benefit from protection on the 24V field input connectors as power supply faults or miss wiring might damage or cause the module to not operate correctly.

This Verified Design provides the theory: component selection: simulation: PCB design: and measurement details for a low-side voltage-to-current (V-I) converter. The circuit delivers a well-regulated current to a floating load which could include actuators: sensors: motors: LEDs: and many other applications. The design uses the OPA735 small-signal op amp to control an NPN emitter-follower that sources current to the load. The current is accurately regulated by feeding back the voltage drop across a low-side current-sense resistor to the op amp. The rail-to-rail input/output topology of the OPA735 allows for good accuracy even at low currents because there is very little dead-zone" in either the input or output stage. The auto-zero zero-drift technology in the OPA735 allows for great DC performance over temperature.See more TI Precision Designs"
