Demonstrating TMS320C2xx Pipeline Operation During an Interrupt
Texas Instruments
This application brief describes the behavior of the Texas Instruments (TI(TM)) TMS320C2xx pipeline during an interrupt occurring around the SETC and CLRC instructions. This brief also explains how to change the appropriate bit in the IMR register to protect a block of code without globally disabling interrupts. Each scenario was tested using the TMS320C209SE ('C209SE) DSP and its internal time

The LTC2688 is a 16-channel,16-bit, ?15 V digital-to-analog converter (DAC) with an integrated precision reference. The LTC2688 is guaranteed monotonic and has built in rail-to-rail output buffers that can source or sink up to 20 mA. This SoftSpan? DAC offers five output ranges up to ?15 V. The range of each channel is independently programmable. The internal 4.096 V precision reference sets the accuracy of the output voltage. An external reference can be used for additional range options. Three toggle pins support Input Register A and Input Register B toggle or sinusoidal dither at multiple frequencies. An analog multiplexer simplifies measurement of pin voltages, load currents, and junction temperature.Programmable offset and gain registers improve the accuracy of the DAC outputs. The serial peripheral interface (SPI) and MICROWIRE?-compatible, 3-wire serial interface operates on logic levels as low as 1.71 V and clock rates up to 50 MHz.APPLICATIONSOptical networkingInstrumentationData acquisitionAutomatic test equipmentProcess control and industrial automation

ADR1399H-EBZ
Analog Devices Inc.
The ADR1399 precision shunt reference features excellent temperature stability over a wide range of voltage, temperature, and quiescent current conditions. A temperature stabilizing loop is incorporated with the active Zener on a monolithic? substrate, which nearly eliminates changes in voltage with temperature. The subsurface Zener circuit is fully specified at a quiescent current IREF of 3 mA and offers minimal noise (1.44 ?V p-p, 0.1 Hz to 10 Hz) and excellent long-term stability (7 ppm/?kHr). The ADR1399 offers a lower output dynamic impedance (0.08 ?) than the LM399, reducing the effects of shunt resistor (RSHUNT) and the supply voltage variation on the reference output.Ideal applications for the ADR1399 include ultrastable digital voltmeters, precision calibration equipment, and ultrarepeatable analog-to-digital converters (ADCs). The simplicity of the basic pin configurations is shown in Figure 1. The 8-terminal LCC version offers force and sense pins for lower dynamic impedance and for Kelvin sensing. Table 1. The ADP5071 is a dual high performance dc-to-dc regulator that generates independently regulated positive and negative rails. The input voltage range of 2.85 V to 15 V supports a wide variety of applications. The integrated main switch in both regulators enables generation of an adjustable positive output voltage up to +39 V and a negative output voltage down to ?39 V below input voltage. The ADP5071 operates at a pin selected 1.2 MHz/2.4 MHz switching frequency. The ADP5071 can synchronize with an external oscillator from 1.0 MHz to 2.6 MHz to ease noise filtering in sensitive applications. Both regulators implement programmable slew rate control circuitry for the MOSFET driver stage to reduce electromagnetic interference (EMI).Flexible start-up sequencing is provided with the options of manual enable, simultaneous mode, positive supply first, and negative supply first. The ADP5071 includes a fixed internal or resistor programmable soft start timer to prevent inrush current at power-up. During shutdown, both regulators completely disconnect the loads from the input supply to provide a true shutdown.Other key safety features in the ADP5071 include overcurrent protection (OCP), overvoltage protection (OVP), thermal shutdown (TSD), and input undervoltage lockout (UVLO).The ADP5071 is available in a 20-lead LFCSP or in a 20-lead TSSOP and is rated for a ?40?C to +125?C junction temperature range.Applications Bipolar amplifiers, ADCs, DACs, and multiplexers Charge-coupled device (CCD) bias supply Optical module supply RF power amplifier (PA) bias

LT3080EDD-1 Demo Board | LT3080-1(x4), Paralleled, Single Resistor Prog Low Noise LDOs, 1.7V ≤ VIN ≤ 25V, VOUT = 1.2V @ 4.4A
Analog Devices Inc.
Demonstration circuit 1368A exercises four adjustable linear regulators in parallel using the LT3080-1, which incorporates an internal ballast resistor. The ballast resistor allows direct paralleling of devices without the need for PC board resistors or sensor resistors. The paralleled devices provide up to 4.4A of output current at 1.2V. Architected as a precision current source and voltage follower, the LT3080-1 can be used in many applications requiring high current, adjustability to zero output, and no heat sink. The device brings out the collector of the pass transistor to allow low dropout operation when used with multiple supplies. The LT3080-1's output voltage can be programmed to any level between 0V and 36V; however the demo board has a reduced input voltage range from 1.7V to 25V due to the input capacitor voltage rating.
