LT3080EDD-1 Demo Board | LT3080-1(x4), Paralleled, Single Resistor Prog Low Noise LDOs, 1.7V ≤ VIN ≤ 25V, VOUT = 1.2V @ 4.4A
Analog Devices Inc.
Demonstration circuit 1368A exercises four adjustable linear regulators in parallel using the LT3080-1, which incorporates an internal ballast resistor. The ballast resistor allows direct paralleling of devices without the need for PC board resistors or sensor resistors. The paralleled devices provide up to 4.4A of output current at 1.2V. Architected as a precision current source and voltage follower, the LT3080-1 can be used in many applications requiring high current, adjustability to zero output, and no heat sink. The device brings out the collector of the pass transistor to allow low dropout operation when used with multiple supplies. The LT3080-1's output voltage can be programmed to any level between 0V and 36V; however the demo board has a reduced input voltage range from 1.7V to 25V due to the input capacitor voltage rating.

Considerations for PCB Layout and Impedance Matching Design in Optical Modules
Texas Instruments
The optical module offers an effective high-speed solution for a growing telecom market. Data rates range from 155 Mbps to 6 Gbps and even up to 10 Gbps. Transmitter optical sub-assemblies (TOSAs) and laser drivers may have different resistances in a given application so the reflection could be worse if the designer does not use an impedance transfer circuit to absorb it. Additional uncertain noi

4.5Vin to 5.5Vin; 80Vout @ 2mA; Coupled Inductor Non-Synchronous Boost Converter
Texas Instruments
A coupled inductor non-synchronous boost converter that accepts an input voltage of 4.5Vin to 5.5Vin and provides an output of 80Vout capable of delivering 2mA. This design has a very high output-to-input voltage boost ratio.

ADM1270RQ-EVALZ
Analog Devices Inc.
The ADM1270 is a current-limiting controller that providesinrush current limiting and overcurrent protection for modularor battery-powered systems. When circuit boards are insertedinto a live backplane, discharged supply bypass capacitors drawlarge transient currents from the backplane power bus as theycharge. These transient currents can cause permanent damageto connector pins, as well as dips on the backplane supply thatcan reset other boards in the system. The ADM1270 is designed to control the inrush current, whenpowering on the system, via an external P-channel field effecttransistor (FET).To protect the system from a reverse polarity input supply, thereis a provision made to control an additional external P-channelFET. This feature prevents reverse current flow in case of a reversepolarity connection, which can damage the load or the ADM1270.The ADM1270 is available in a 3 mm ? 3 mm, 16-lead LFCSP anda 16-lead QSOP. TFT LCD Display Power Supply Solutions Using the TPS65100 Triple Output Supply
Texas Instruments
The reference design and application examples shown in this document highlight the typical applications for the TPS65100 in TFT LCD displays for notebooks and monitors. The TPS65100 offers a compact and small power supply solution that provides all three voltages required by TFT LCD displays. The auxiliary linear regulator controller can be used to generate a 3.3-V logic power rail for systems pow

Class 4 - Wide Input Range 15W Power over Ethernet (PoE) Converter
Texas Instruments
Note: TIDA-00091 was implemented using hardware from PMP6659.The Class 4 – Wide Input Range: 15W Power over Ethernet (PoE) Converter reference design is intended as an evaluation module for users to develop end-products for IP security camera applications. This reference design has been optimized for its wide input voltage range; delivering an output power of 12-V at 1.25-A (15-W) from either an adapter input (10.8 to 57-VDC or 18 to 32-VAC) or power over Ethernet. The wide input voltage range makes this design compatible with legacy applications where 12- or 24-VDC: or 24-VAC auxiliary power is used.

The AD5673R/AD5677R are low power, 16-channel, 12-/16-bit, buffered voltage output, digital-to-analog converters (DACs) that include a 2.5 V, 2 ppm/?C internal reference (enabled by default), and a gain select pin, resulting in a full-scale output of 2.5 V (gain = 1) or 5 V (gain = 2). The devices operate from a single, 2.7 V to 5.5 V supply range and are guaranteed monotonic by design. The AD5673R/AD5677R are available in a 28-lead lead frame chip scale package (LFCSP) and incorporate a power-on reset (POR) circuit that ensures that the DAC outputs power up to and remain at zero scale or midscale until a valid write. The AD5673R/AD5677R contain a power-down mode that reduces the current consumption to 2 ?A typical.Applications Optical transceivers Base station power amplifiers Process control (programmable logic controller (PLC) input/output cards) Industrial automation Data acquisition systems Product Highlights High channel density: 16 channels in 4 mm ? 4 mm LFCSP.
