The LT3825 is an isolated switching regulator controller designed for medium power flyback topologies. A typical application is 10W to 60W with input voltage limited only by external power path components. A third transformer winding provides output voltage feedback. The LT3825 is a current mode controller that regulates output voltage based on sensing secondary voltage via a transformer winding during flyback. This allows for tight output regulation without the use of an opto-isolator, improving dynamic response and reliability. Synchronous rectification increases converter efficiency and improves output cross regulation in multiple output converters. The LT3825 operates in forced continuous conduction mode which improves cross regulation in multiple winding applications. Switching frequency is user programmable and can be externally synchronized. The part also has load compensation, undervoltage lockout and soft-start circuity.Applications Isolated Medium Power (10W to 60W) Supplies Isolated Telecom, Medical Converters Instrumentation Power Supplies Isolated Power over Ethernet Supplies

Two-Phase Interleaved Power Factor Correction Converter Reference Design with Power Metering
Texas Instruments
This design is a digitally controlled: two phase interleaved: 700W power factor correction converter with added power metering functionality. A C2000™ Piccolo™ microcontroller is the controller for the two 180 ° phase shifted boost power stages that comprise the power factor correction converter: and: additionally: it monitors the line and neutral voltage waveforms to implement power metering functions. This design is able to achieve 97% efficiency and 1.5% THD at full load with power factor greater than 0.98. By minimizing power loss in the power stage: reducing reliability impacts of harmonic distortion: and providing near unity power factor: this design is a great choice for off-line applications and AC/DC power supplies.

The LTC6655 is a complete family of precision bandgap voltage references, offering exceptional noise and drift performance. This low noise and drift is ideally suited for the high resolution measurements required by instrumentation and test equipment. In addition, the LTC6655 is fully specified over the temperature range of ?40?C to 125?C, ensuring its suitability for demanding automotive and industrial applications. Advanced curvature compensation allows this bandgap reference to achieve a drift of less than 2ppm/?C with a predictable temperature characteristic and an output voltage accurate to ?0.025%, reducing or eliminating the need for calibration. The LTC6655LN Low Noise comes with a noise reduction pin that enables reduction of wideband noise with the addition of a single capacitor. The LTC6655 can be powered from as little as 500mV above the output voltage to as much as 13.2V. Superior load regulation with source and sink capability, coupled with exceptional line rejection, ensures consistent performance over a wide range of operating conditions. A shutdown mode is provided for low power applications. The LTC6655 references are offered in an 8-lead MSOP package and an 8-lead LS8 package. The LS8 is a 5mm ? 5mm surface mount hermetic package that provides outstanding stability.APPLICATIONS Instrumentation and Test Equipment High Resolution Data Acquisition Systems Weigh Scales Precision Battery Monitors Precision Regulators Medical Equipment

How to Approach Inter-Core Communication on TMS320C6474
Texas Instruments
Today's digital signal processor (DSP) architectures are confronted with the tough requirement of addressing a wide-range of standards and meeting a cost-effective performance/power trade-off. Increasing raw million instructions per second (MIPS) performance just by running at a higher frequency is not possible anymore since leakage is becoming a dominant factor with shrinking silicon geometries.

The AD7616 is a 16-bit, DAS that supports dual simultaneous sampling of 16 channels. The AD7616 operates from a single 5 V supply and can accommodate ?10 V, ?5 V, and ?2.5 V true bipolar input signals while sampling at throughput rates up to 1 MSPS per channel pair with 90.5 dB SNR. Higher SNR performance can be achieved with the on-chip oversampling mode (92 dB for an oversampling ratio (OSR) of 2).The input clamp protection circuitry can tolerate voltages up to ?21 V. The AD7616 has 1 M? analog input impedance, regardless of sampling frequency. The single-supply operation, on-chip filtering, and high input impedance eliminate the need for driver op amps and external bipolar supplies. The device contains analog input clamp protection, a dual, 16-bit charge redistribution SAR analog-to-digital converter (ADC), a flexible digital filter, a 2.5 V reference and reference buffer, and high speed serial and parallel interfaces. The AD7616 is serial peripheral interface (SPI)/QSPI?/DSP/ MICROWIRE compatibleApplications Power line monitoring Protective relays Multiphase motor control Instrumentation and control systems Data acquisition systems (DASs)

The LTM4627 is a complete 15A output high efficiency switch mode DC/DC power supply. Included in the package are the switching controller, power FETs, inductor and compensation components. Operating over an input voltage range from 4.5V to 20V, the LTM4627 supports an output voltage range of 0.6V to 5V, set by a single external resistor. Only a few input and output capacitors are needed.Current mode operation allows precision current sharing of up to four LTM4627 regulators to obtain 60A output. High switching frequency and a current mode architecture enable a very fast transient response to line and load changes without sacrificing stability. The device supports frequency synchronization, multiphase/current sharing operation, Burst Mode operation and output voltage tracking for supply rail sequencing. The LTM4627 is offered in thermally enhanced 15mm ? 15mm ? 4.32mm LGA and 15mm ? 15mm ? 4.92mm BGA packages.
