Fly Smart

By linking a mobile phone to the ground station, the control of Splash drone 3 auto changes from joystick control, to a few screen taps on the Swellpro APP. This enables several smart flight modes, which drastically reduces manual input from the pilot, making flying the Splash drone easy.

• Follow Me: By holding the mobile phone with Swellpro's Bluetooth link module, Splash drone will constantly follow you, turning the camera towards you, and recording every bit of your ongoing activities.
• Mission Planning: Mission planning instructs Splash drone to automatically fly along a pre-designated path through several waypoints that you have preset using the APP.
• Tap to Fly: Tap one location at a time on the map, and Splash drone will navigate to the destination and hover, awaiting further commands from the pilot.

Fly Safely

Drones may sometimes lose control because they could fly out of range, or if there is radio interference. Therefore, we've taken some good precautionary measures in the control of the Splash drone 3, to avoid undesirable things, such as flyaway or a crash. Feel completely safe and competent, even if flying over land.

• Return-home: The Return Home function recalls Splash Drone to it's starting point if, or when the signal is lost.
• Auto-land: When the battery almost runs out, Splash drone will automatically land smoothly where it is.
• Low Battery Alert: If the battery voltage runs low, the remote controller will warn you of this, by popping up low battery icon on the screen.

Payload Release Mechanism

The SAR payload release mechanism is an additional module, which increases the Splash drone 3's versatility in many ways. With a 1kg (max) payload capacity, the mechanism can be used to carry a fishing line far away in the sea, or on a lake, and drop the bait at the desired location. More than recreational fishing, it also offers great assistance in water rescue, with fast delivery of essential lifesaving equipment, which is much faster than the conventional methods. Like the camera gimbal, the payload release module can be quickly installed on, or released from the Splash drone 3. It is 100% waterproof and has a waterproof camera for live video feedback. Objects can be released precisely and simply from a switch on the remote controller.

Fly Safely

Return Home: If the signal is lost, the SplashDrone 3+ returns to the starting point and lands gently. You can also tap Return-Home on the app or flick the Return-Home switch on the remote controller to retrieve the drone.

Low Battery Alerts: During flight, if the battery voltage reaches a two predetermined warning levels, the remote controller will display a clear flashing notice for the pilot.

Low Battery Auto-landing: When the battery is almost completely drained, SplashDrone 3+ will execute an in-position auto landing to prevent a crash.

Lost Drone Location Beacon: If you inadvertently lose or crash your drone out of sight, you will instantly have the drone's location pinpointed on the APP’s map, even with low batteries. (GroundStation module required).

Ground Breaking Modular Design

The flight controller, ESC, transmitter and PCB are all integrated inside the box frame. The wiring is neatly laid out. All electronics are fully modular, and replaceable separately for ease of maintenance and DIY. Replacement of Swift 2 requires loosening and re-tightening a few screws and soldering – that’s all.

Racing Meets Filming

Swift 2 is more than an RTF racer. The supplied camera mount is able to attach a Gopro or Runcam on the frame, giving pilots possibilities to record high resolution video of their breathtaking freestyle racing in cool and sophisticated fields. The mount can also be tilt to the most ideal filming angle during speed forwarding.

Splash drone 3 fisherman is engineered to deliver a long fishing line up to 1 kilometer and land your baits or lures on your desired spot, where you can't normally approach. Unlike some DIY drone fishing rigs randomly released by self-tension, or swinging the dorne in a certain way, the PL2 release mechanism that is factory-fitted on the Splash drone precisely drops things with a simple flick of a switch on the remote controller. It was built perfectly in tune with the aircraft, and doesn't compromise the flight performance and imaging quality. You never have to risk your photography drone for surf fishing with a third-party-made bait dropper.

10X Baits Dropping at a Time

Not just drop a single bait, with the up to 1kg deadlift payload capacity of Splash drone 3, this means that you can carry more than 10 hook baits out on one line. Or you can lift up a single bait when hunting sharks or even a live-bait for monster tuna. Made from high precision CNC aluminum and steel, the release attachment is designed for heavy lifts. Despite the payload, it takes just a moment to fly the fishing line beyond the shallow waters and out to the strike zone. Normally 3-5 times of bait dropping can be done in a single drone's battery charge (depending on the distance). The high propulsion system and the efficient design multiply the efficiency of surfcasting much more than ever before.

Fish Finder Camera

One of the keys to a successful drone fishing is to know where the fish are and understand the underwater terrain. To make that easy, we fix a waterproof camera lens onto the PL2. The lens has a 120° field of view, which greatly increases your scope of vision. The Sony CCD lens sensor 800TVL (720P) provides video with excellent dynamic range, which is good for identifying the color contrast on the sea. The low light sensitivity feature allows you to see clearly what's happening beneath the waves when the camera goes underwater. With Splash drone 3, you can easily survey the topography from a bird-eye-view, quickly spotting fish schools and watch fish movement, while the aircraft is ready with bait or lures for the drop.

Some anglers are also enthusiastic about photography & videography, and therefore demand some epic, smooth footages, whether it is for drone fishing from beach or boat fishing. We have listened to them and made the PL3 drop mechanism with a 4K camera and one-axis stabilization. The camera can be tilted within 90° right from the controller and enables the function of capturing photo and video. Drone Hunting on Live

An first-person-view LCD screen is built in the remote controller, instantly displaying a live video feed from the camera of Splash drone 3. The video transmission ranges up to 1km via a 5.8Ghz wireless system. With very low video delay, you can always see what the drone see by looking at the live video on the screen, and together with the instantly updated flight data on the screen such as distance, height, speed and battery voltage. Everything is at your command. Those on-screen displays help you determine the orientation of the aircraft, how many more drops you can have, and most importantly, when and where you need to release the hook.

To prevent excessive drifting under strong wind force, we arm the Splash drone 3 with a robust 450mm quadcopter frame, high torque 620KV motors, and full carbon fiber propellers. The new propulsion combo provides tremendous horsepower, driving the drone to withstand winds up to 30mph. The new flight controller is also recoded with various tough conditions in mind. Ease of Use
