GENIO 350 DEVELOPMENT KIT
MediaTek Genio 350 SoCs are highly integrated application processors
MediaTek Genio 350 (MT8365 IoT application processor) architecture is a highly integrated mobile computing platform incorporating application processing, APU, DSP, and connectivity subsystems to enable smart mobile applications. This high-performance, low-power platform features advanced implementation of a quad-core Arm® Cortex®-A53 operating at up to 2.0 GHz and a powerful multi-standard video accelerator. For optimal performance, the device features NAND Flash memory, LPDDR3, DDR3/L, LPDDR4/X, and DDR4. It also supports booting from eMMC to minimize the overall BOM cost. In addition, an extensive set of interfaces is included to connect to cameras, touchscreen displays, and MMC/SD cards.
The quad-core Arm Cortex-A53 MPCore™, equipped with an Arm Neon™ engine, offers the necessary processing power to support the latest OpenOS and demanding applications such as web browsing, email, GPS navigation, and games. The 2D/3D graphics accelerator can enhance and visualize this content on a high-resolution touchscreen display. The device features an advanced audio subsystem and a multi-standard video accelerator with many decoders and encoders such as HEVC and H.264 to provide advanced multimedia applications and services such as streaming audio and video. The device implements a hardware mechanism to support advanced and sophisticated radio coexistence algorithms. The enhanced overall quality is achieved for simultaneous voice, data, and audio/video transmission on AI-embedded devices. The small footprint with low power consumption greatly reduces the PCB layout resource.
