MAX20333DENL+T

Part Number : MAX20333DENL+T

Analog Devices Inc.
The MAX20333/A/B/C/D/E/F/G/H/I/J/K/L/M/N programmable current-limit switches feature internal current limiting to prevent damage to host devices due to faulty load conditions. These current limit switches feature a low 23mΩ (typ) on-resistance and operate from a +3.5V to +22V iinput voltage range (MAX20333/A/B/C/D/E/F/G/H/I/J/K), or +3.3V to +22V input voltage range (MAX20333L/M/N).The MAX20333 family has three working modes: normal mode (NM), high current mode (HCM), and low power mode (LPM). In NM, the device offers a programmable current-limit protection from 0.2A to 4.75A. The current-limit threshold can be programmed by connecting a suitable resistor to the SETI bump. When the current reaches the programmed threshold, the part prevents the current to further increase. The device can react in three different ways while in current limit: autoretry, latchoff, and continuous. The voltage on the SETI bump is proportional to the current flowing out of the OUT bump at any time and can be read by an ADC.In high current mode (HCM), the current-limit threshold is multiplied by two, with an internal upper limit set at 5.5A. The voltage on SETI is proportional to the current flowing into IN, but multiplied by a factor 0.5. In low power mode (LPM), the current consumption of the part is dramatically reduced, and the on-resistance is 420mΩ (typ), while still offering an overcurrent protection. The switch is open when the current flowing through the switch exceeds 0.4A (typ). The devices are available in a 15-bump (2.1mm x 1.52mm) WLP package and operate over the -40°C to +85°C extended temperature range.ApplicationsBattery Disconnect SwitchGeneral Power Supply SwitchUSB Port Protection Switch

The charger also supports temperature dependent charge currents. The two synchronous, high-efficiency step-down buck regulators feature a variable frequency mode for increased efficiency during light-load operation. The output voltage of these regulators can be programmed through I2C with the default preconfigured. The buck regulators cansupport dynamic voltage scaling to further improve system power consumption. The three configurable LDOs each have a dedicated input pin. Each LDO regulator output voltage can be programmed through I2C with the default preconfigured. The linear regulators can also be configured to operate as power switches that may be used to disconnect the quiescent load of the system peripherals. The MAX20335 features a programmable power controller that allows the device to be configured for applications that require the device be in a true-off, or always-on, state. The controller also provides a delayed reset signal and voltage sequencing. The MAX20335 is available in a 36-bump, 0.4mm pitch, 2.72mm x 2.47mm wafer-level package (WLP).ApplicationsFitness MonitorsRechargeable IoT devicesWearable Electronics

MAX20343BEWE+T

Part Number : MAX20343BEWE+T

Analog Devices Inc.
The MAX20343/MAX20344 is an ultra-low quiescent current, noninverting buck-boost converter with 1A current capability at 3.5V intended for applications that require long run times while also demanding bursts of high current. The device employs a unique control algorithm which seamlessly transitions between buck, buck-boost, and boost modes, minimizing discontinuities and subharmonics in the output voltage ripple. The low 1.9V input voltage for startup allows users to power the device from a variety of sources, and the near-zero minimum operating voltage gives the user the ability to extract as much as possible from their energy source. The MAX20343/MAX20344 has also been designed to keep inductance and output capacitance requirements as low as possible for space-constrained applications. The MAX20343/MAX20344 is ideal for power in optical sensor applications as well as for powering radios in low power, wide area network (LPWAN) applications since in both cases noise must be minimal and efficiency must be high. For instance, the small light-load output voltage ripple allows a photoplethysmography (PPG) system to operate at low LED currents without interference. Additionally, seamless transitions between operating modes enables the use of dynamic voltage scaling (DVS) to minimize headroom on the LED and to save power in such systems. In applications where a low-power-density battery must be buffered by a super-capacitor to provide large LPWAN type bursts of current, the ultra-low operating voltage of the MAX20343/MAX20344 allows the user to extract as much energy as possible from the super capacitor. The low output inductance/capacitance requirement allows a small total solution size. For example in PPG systems, this provides the flexibility to place the MAX20343/MAX20344 on a remote optical module if overcrowding on the main PCB is an issue. The MAX20343/MAX20344 is available with a highly configurable I2C serial interface or as a single-pin-enabled fixed-programming version. See Table 3 for specific device settings. MAX20343 operates over the -40°C to +85°C temperature range, is available in a 16-bump, 1.77mm x 2.01mm, 0.4mm pitch WLP package and a 12-pin, 2.50mm x 2.50mm, 0.5mm pitch FC2QFN package. MAX20344 operates over the -40°C to +125°C temperature range, and is available in a 12-pin, 2.50mm x 2.50mm, 0.5mm pitch FC2QFN package.ApplicationsBiometric Optical Sensing Including PPGIndustrial SensorsIoTLPWAN (LTE/NB-IoT, LTE/Cat-M1)

The MAX20402/MAX20403 IC are tiny synchronous buck converters with integrated high-side and low-side switches. The MAX20402/MAX20403 deliver up to 2.5A/3.5Aover a wide 3V to 36V input voltage range. Voltage quality can be monitored by observing the PGOOD signal. These ICs can operate in dropout by running at 99% duty cycle, making them ideal for automotive and industrial applications. The MAX20402/MAX20403 offer externally programmable or internally fixed output voltages of 5V and 3.3V. Fixed internal frequency options of 3MHz/2.1MHz/400kHz areavailable, which allow for small external components and reduced output ripple, and also guarantee no AM interference. When SYNC is low, the MAX20402/MAX20403 automatically enter skip mode at light loads with an ultra-low quiescent current of 10μA at no load. A pin-selectable forced-PWM mode is also available, which helps improve EMI performance. The devices have a spread-spectrum frequency modulation option designed to minimize EMI-radiated emissions due to the modulation frequency. The MAX20402/MAX20403 are available in a small, 3mm x 3mm FC2QFN package and use very few external components.APPLICATIONS Automotive Applications ADAS Systems Radar Modules Infotainment Industrial Applications High-Voltage DC-DC Converters
