MAX20315EWC+T

Part Number : MAX20315EWC+T

Analog Devices Inc.
The MAX20313–MAX20316 programmable current-limit switches feature internal current limiting to prevent damage to host devices due to faulty load conditions. These current-limit switches feature a low, 10mΩ (typ) on-resistance and operate from a +2.5V to +5.5V input voltage range. The current limit is adjustable from 500mA to 6A, making these devices ideal for charging a large load capacitor and for high-current load-switching applications. The MAX20313 and MAX20315 feature a continuous current-limit mode during an overcurrent event. The MAX20314 and MAX20316 feature a latchoff mode during an overcurrent event. Additional safety features include thermal shutdown protection to prevent overheating and reverse current blocking to prevent current from being driven back into the source. The devices are available in a 12-bump (0.4mm pitch, 1.68mm x 1.48mm) wafer-level package (WLP) and operate over the -40°C to +85°C extended temperature range.ApplicationsData Modem CardsPortable Media PlayersRF Power Amplifiers in Cell PhonesSDXC Card Power Supply ProtectionUSB PortsUTCA/ATCA Platforms

MAX2678GTB/V+

Part Number : MAX2678GTB/V+

Analog Devices Inc.
The MAX2678 GPS/GNSS front-end amplifier IC is designed for automotive and marine GPS/GNSS satellite navigation antenna modules, or for any application that needs to compensate for cable losses from the antenna to receiver. Two unconditionally stable low-noise amplifier stages provide the high gain and integrated I/O matching to minimize the need for external matching components and eliminate the need for additional gain stages. The IC features the option to place a bandpass ceramic or surface acoustic wave (SAW) filter between the two amplifier stages for improved immunity to out-of-band interferers. Additionally, a 3.4dB-gain step is provided to compensate for cable loss variation between different applications. The device is designed to operate across all GNSS frequency standards with a 35dB typical cascaded gain and a 25mA supply current. The two LNA stages allow the use of a wide range of GNSS filter types for maximum flexibility in system design. The final RF output pin, which drives the cable to the GNSS receiver, is also the power-supply connection that accepts a DC supply in the 3.0V to 5.25V range. Alternatively, the DC supply can be applied to pin 4. This GPS/GNSS front-end amplifier is available in a lead-free, 10-pin TDFN surface-mount package (3mm × 3mm). Electrical performance is guaranteed over the extended -40°C to +105°C temperature range.ApplicationsActive AntennasIntegrated Automotive and Marine GPS Receivers

MAX31914AUI+T

Part Number : MAX31914AUI+T

Analog Devices Inc.
For new designs, please refer to MAX22195 ›The MAX31914 translates and conditions the 24V digitaloutput of sensors and switches used in industrial, process, and building automation to 5V CMOS-compatiblesignals required by microcontrollers. It provides the frontendinterface circuit of a programmable logic controller(PLC) digital input module. The signal voltage translation is performed in conjunctionwith input current limiting and lowpass filtering. Inputcurrent limiting allows a significant reduction in powerconsumed from the field-supply voltage, as comparedto traditional discrete resistor-divider implementations. To achieve the lowest in-class power dissipation, the ICuses patent-pending circuit techniques to achieve furtherreduction of power dissipation beyond what is possibleby input current limiting alone. This special low-poweroperating mode is automatically activated when on-chiplowpass filtering is selected.Selectable on-chip lowpass filters allow flexible debouncingand filtering of sensor inputs based on the application. When no filtering is selected, the IC is capable of detectingpulses as short as 0.75μs at its field inputs. All 8 input channels are translated to CMOS logic levels andpresented in parallel on the eight output pins for direct orgalvanically isolated interface with a controller ASIC ormicro. The on-chip 5V voltage regulator can be used to powerexternal optocouplers, digital isolators, or other external5V circuitry. For low-cost applications, Maxim Integrated offers a pincompatible version of this device, the MAX31915, whichdoes not include the current-switching circuitry includedin the MAX31914.ApplicationsDigital Input Modules for Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs)Industrial Automation, Building AutomationProcess Automation
