MAX6339KUT+T

Part Number : MAX6339KUT+T

Analog Devices Inc.
The MAX6339 is a precision quad voltage monitor withmicroprocessor (µP) supervisory reset timing. The devicecan monitor up to four system supply voltages withoutany external components and asserts a single reset if anysupply voltage drops below its preset threshold. Thedevice significantly reduces system size and componentcount while improving reliability compared to separateICs or discrete components.A variety of factory-trimmed threshold voltages are availableto accommodate different supply voltages and toleranceswith minimal external component requirements. The selection includes internally fixed options for monitoring+5.0V, +3.3V, +3.0V, +2.5V, +1.8V, and -5.0V supplieswith -5% and/or -10% tolerances. The device is alsoavailable with one or two user-adjustable thresholdoptions if non-standard thresholds are desired (use externalresistor-divider network). The quad monitor provides a single active-low reset outputthat is asserted when any monitored input is below itsassociated threshold. The output is open drain with aweak internal pullup (10µA) to IN2. Reset remains low fora reset timeout period (140ms min) after all voltages areabove the selected thresholds. The output is valid as longas either the IN1 or IN2 input voltage remains > 1V.The MAX6339 is available in a small 6-pin SOT23 packageand operates over the extended (-40°C to +85°C)temperature range.ApplicationsComputers: Desktop, Workstation, ServerData Storage EquipmentHigh-End PrintersIndustrial EquipmentNetwork EquipmentSet-Top BoxesTelecommunications

MAX6342LUT+T

Part Number : MAX6342LUT+T

Analog Devices Inc.
The MAX6342-MAX6345 family of microprocessor (µP) supervisory circuits monitors power supplies in digital systems. These devices significantly improve system reliability and accuracy compared to separate ICs or discrete components. The MAX6342-MAX6345 provide factory-trimmed VCC reset threshold voltages from 2.33V to 4.63V and operate with supply voltages between +1V and +5.5V. A +1.25V threshold detector allows for a power-fail warning, for low-battery detection, or for monitoring another power supply. The MAX6342 contains an active-low MR input and an active-low push-pull reset. The MAX6343 and MAX6344 are identical to the MAX6342 except they provide an active-low, open-drain reset and an active-high, push-pull reset, respectively. The MAX6345 provides a second reset output in place of the active-low MR input to give it an active-high push-pull reset and an active-low push-pull reset. All of the devices are packaged in a miniature 6-pin SOT23.ApplicationsEmbedded Control SystemsMultivoltage SystemsNetwork EquipmentPortable Battery-Powered EquipmentPortable ComputingTelecom Equipment

MAX6349WLUT+T

Part Number : MAX6349WLUT+T

Analog Devices Inc.
The MAX6329/MAX6349 are low-dropout, micropower linear voltage regulators with integrated microprocessor reset circuits. Each is available with preset +3.3V, +2.5V, +1.8V, or adjustable output voltages and can deliver up to 150mA load current. Employing internal P-channel MOSFET pass transistors, the devices consume only 25µA supply current, independent of the device load. The low supply current, low dropout voltage, and integrated reset functionality make these devices ideal for battery powered portable equipment. The MAX6329/MAX6349 include an internal reset circuit that indicates when the regulator output drops below standard microprocessor supply tolerances (-5% or -10%). The reset output remains asserted for 100ms (min) after the regulator output exceeds the selected reset threshold, ensuring that supply voltages and clock oscillators have stabilized before processor activity is enabled. Reset outputs are available in push-pull (active-low or -high) and open-drain (active-low) options. The internal reset circuit replaces external microprocessor supervisors or RC-based reset time delays. The MAX6329/MAX6349 are optimized for use with a 1µF (min) output capacitor. The regulator output voltage is adjustable with an external resistor-divider network at SET (reset threshold voltages track the desired output voltage). Each device includes thermal shutdown protection, output short-circuit protection, and reverse leakage protection. The MAX6329 includes a shutdown feature to reduce regulator current below 1µA (max) and the MAX6349 offers a manual reset input to assert a microprocessor reset while the regulator output is within specification.ApplicationsAudio SystemsCordless PhonesElectronic PlannersGlobal Positioning Systems (GPS)Handheld Instruments (PDAs, Palmtops)ModemsPalmtop ComputersPCMCIA CardsUSB Devices
