The LT3579 is a PWM DC/DC converter with built-in fault protection features to aid in protecting against output shorts, input/output overvoltage, and overtemperature conditions. The part consists of a 42V master switch, and a 42V slave switch that can be tied together for a total current limit of 6A.The LT3579 is ideal for many local power supply designs. It can be easily configured in Boost, SEPIC, Inverting, or Flyback configurations, and is capable of generating 12V at 1.7A, or ?12V at 1.2A from a 5V input. In addition, the LT3579?s slave switch allows the part to be configured in high voltage, high power charge pump topologies that are very efficient and require fewer components than traditional circuits. The LT3579?s switching frequency range can be set between 200kHz and 2.5MHz. The part may be clocked internally at a frequency set by the resistor from the RT pin to ground, or it may be synchronized to an external clock. A buffered version of the clock signal is driven out of the CLKOUT pin, and may be used to synchronize other compatible switching regulator ICs to the LT3579.The LT3579 also features innovative SHDN pin circuitry that allows for slowly varying input signals and an adjustable undervoltage lockout function. Additional features such as frequency foldback and soft-start are integrated. The LT3579 is available in 20-lead TSSOP and 20-pin 4mm ? 5mm QFN packages.Applications Local Power Supply Vacuum Fluorescent Display (VFD) Bias Supplies TFT-LCD Bias Supplies Automotive Engine Control Unit (ECU) Power

LTC3634EUFD Demo Board (QFN) | VIN= 3.6V to 15V, VOUT1 =1.5V/1.8V/2.5V@±3A, VOUT2 = 0.5VIN (VTT)@±3A, VOUT3 = 0.5VIN (VTTR)@±10mA

Analog Devices Inc.
Demonstration circuit DC1708A is a dual-output regulator focused specifically for DDR memory power applications. It is built based on the LTC3634, a high voltage dualchannel, controlled on-time monolithic synchronous buck regulator. The DC1708A has an input voltage range of 3.6V to 15V. The output voltage of the first channel, VDDQ, of the DC1708A has three fixed voltage settings: 1.5V, 1.8V and 2.5V, and is capable of delivering up to 3A of output current. The second channel, VTT, is set to regulate to half the voltage on the VDDQIN pin, which can be either the channel 1 output or an external reference voltage. It can source or sink a maximum of 3A of output current. The LTC3634 also provides a 10mA buffered output of half VDDQIN – VTTR, which is used to provide the reference voltage needed for DDR applications. With the use of a timing resistor, the DC1708A can have its operating frequency programmed from 500kHz to 4MHz. Additionally the DC1708A can be easily synchronized to an external clock, due to an internal phase-locked loop, within this same frequency range. The DC1708A VDDQ output can operate in either Burst Mode® operation or forced continuous mode. In Burst Mode operation, which is the preferred mode of low load current operation, the DC supply current is typically only 1.3mA (both channels) at no load (sleep mode), and less than 15µA in shutdown. In Burst Mode operation or continuous mode operation, the DC1708A is a very efficient circuit at high load currents: over 80% for either channel. The LTC3634 is also capable of 90° or 180° out-of-phase operation, and can allow its output to track an external voltage, either coincidentally or ratiometrically. The LTC3634 comes in a 28-pin QFN package, featuring an exposed pad on the bottom-side of the IC for better thermal performance. All of these features make the DC1708A an ideal circuit for powering DDR memory applications.

The LTC2471/LTC2473 are small, 16-bit analog-to-digital converters with an integrated precision reference and a selectable 208sps or 833sps output rate. They use a single 2.7V to 5.5V supply and communicate through an I2C Interface. The LTC2471 is single-ended with a 0V to VREF input range and the LTC2473 is differential with a ?VREF input range. Both ADCs include a 1.25V integrated reference with 2ppm/?C drift performance and 0.1% initial accuracy. The converters are available in a 12-pin DFN 3mm ? 3mm package or an MSOP-12 package. They include an integrated oscillator and perform conversions with no latency for multiplexed applications. The LTC2471/LTC2473 include a proprietary input sampling scheme that reduces the average input current several orders of magnitude when compared to conventional delta sigma converters.Following a single conversion, the LTC2471/LTC2473 automatically power down the converter and can also be configured to power down the reference. When both the ADC and reference are powered down, the supply current is reduced to 200nA.The LTC2471/LTC2473 include a user selectable 208sps or 833sps output rate and due to a large oversampling ratio (8,192 at 208sps and 2,048 at 833sps) have relaxed anti-aliasing requirements.Applications System Monitoring Environmental Monitoring Direct Temperature Measurements Instrumentation Industrial Process Control Data Acquisition Embedded ADC Upgrades
