The LT3091 is a 1.5A, low dropout negative linear regulator that is easily paralleled to increase output current or spread heat on surface mounted boards. Designed with a precision current reference followed by a high performance rail-to-rail voltage buffer, this regulator finds use in applications requiring precision output, high current with no heat sink, output adjustability to zero and low dropout voltage. The device can also be configured as a 3-terminal floating regulator. The LT3091 features fast transient response, high PSRR and output noise as low as 18?VRMS. The LT3091 generates a wide output voltage range (0V to ?32V) while maintaining unity gain operation. This yields virtually constant bandwidth, load regulation, PSRR and noise, independent of the programmed output voltage. The LT3091 supplies 1.5A at a typical dropout voltage of 300mV. Operating quiescent current is nominally 1.2mA and drops to

The LT1533 is a new class of switching regulator designed to reduce conducted and radiated electromagnetic interference (EMI). Ultralow noise and EMI are achieved by providing user control of the output switch slew rates. Voltage and current slew rates can be independently programmed to optimize switcher harmonic content versus efficiency. The LT1533 can reduce high frequency harmonic power by as much as 40dB with only minor losses in efficiency. The LT1533 utilizes a dual output switch current mode architecture optimized for low noise topologies. The IC includes two 1A power switches along with all necessary oscillator, control and protection circuitry. Unique error amp circuitry can regulate both positive and negative voltages. The internal oscillator may be synchronized to an external clock for more accurate placement of switching harmonics. Protection features include cycle by cycle current limit protection, undervoltage lockout and thermal shutdown. Low minimum supply voltage and low supply current during shutdown make the LT1533 well suited for portable applications. The part may also be forced into a 50% duty cycle mode for unregulated applications. The LTC1563-2/LTC1563-3 are a family of extremely easy-to-use, active RC lowpass filters with rail-to-rail inputs and outputs and low DC offset suitable for systems with a resolution of up to 16 bits. The LTC1563-2, with a single resistor value, gives a unity-gain Butterworth response. The LTC1563-3, with a single resistor value, gives a unity-gain Bessel response. The proprietary architecture of these parts allows for a simple resistor calculation:R = 10k (256kHz/fC); fC = Cutoff Frequencywhere fC is the desired cutoff frequency. For many applications, this formula is all that is needed to design a filter.By simply utilizing different valued resistors, gain andother responses are achieved. The LTC1563-X features a low power mode, for the lowerfrequency applications, where the supply current is reducedby an order of magnitude and a near zero powershutdown mode. The LTC1563-Xs are available in the narrow SSOP-16package (Same footprint as an SO-8 package).Applications Discrete RC Active Filters and Modules Antialiasing Filters Smoothing or Reconstruction Filters Linear Phase Filtering for Data Communication Phase Locked Loops
