This application note describes the implementation of a simple tracking ADC based on digital rheostats of the SLG47004. No external components and no special tuning procedure are required for the proposed ADC structure. Also, the circuit has much better PSRR and temperature drift than a capacitor based counter type ADC. The proposed ADC can be used for monitoring slow-changing signals like temperature, battery voltage, and others.
The application note describes the design procedure for Wheatstone bridge sensors. A unique Auto-Trim feature of the SLG47004 is used to achieve the best precision of this analog interface. The application note contains a complete schematic of an analog front-end for a low-cost pressure sensor.
Fueling with electricity offers some advantages that are not available in conventional internal combustion engine vehicles. Because electric motors react quickly, EVs are very responsive and have very good torque. EVs are often more digitally-connected than conventional vehicles, with many EV charging stations providing the option to control charging from a smartphone app. This design approach utilizes an active PFC and asymmetrical full-bridge ZVS converter, along with an RL78/G14 MCU for EV charger applications.
System Benefits:

This is a total solution for an induction heating (IH) rice cooker that includes a heating block and human-machine interface (HMI). A highly integrated smart insulated-gate bipolar transistor (IGBT) driver and controller, as well as a low-loss IGBT, help to realize a simple and high-performance IH rice cooker.
