The Brushless DC (BLDC) variable-speed drive is widely used because of its particularly high mechanical power density simplicity and cost effectiveness. A software rotor position generation has been implemented on the DSP Controller family thus saving the mechanical position sensor cost. Based on the non-fed phase back electromotive force measurement this software-computed rotor position is fu
