Asynchronous communication protocols rely on each node operating at the same frequency. Modulating the microcontroller operating frequency is possible when the modulation frequency is large enough. Unfortunately the EMC-reducing aspects of clock modulation are most effective when the modulation frequency is small. This application note defines the minimum modulation frequency in relation to the C
