Description

A bootloader enables field updates of application firmware. A controller area network (CAN) bootloader enables firmware updates over the CAN bus. The CAN ootloader described in this application report is based on the Hercules™ ARM® Cortex™-R4 microcontroller. This application report describes the CAN protocol used in the bootloader and details each supported command.
