The MAX86916 is an integrated optical sensor platformwith applications in bio-sensing, proximity, and color. Itincludes internal LEDs, photodetectors, and low-noiseelectronics with ambient-light-rejection circuitry. TheMAX86916 helps ease design-in effort to all mobile andwearable devices.The MAX86916 operates on a 1.8V supply voltage, witha separate 5.5V power supply for the internal LEDs.Communication to and from the module is accomplishedentirely through a standard I2C-compatible interface.
