The MAX25210 high-voltage linear regulator family is idealfor use in automotive and battery-operated systems. Thedevice operates from a +3.5V to +30V input voltage, deliversup to 300mA of load current, and consumes only 10µAof typical quiescent current at no load. The device consumesonly 2µA (typ) current when in shutdown. The inputis +42V transient tolerant and is designed to operate underload-dump conditions. The MAX25210 can be configuredas either fixed output voltage (+3.3V or +5V) or adjustableoutput voltage using an external resistive divider.The MAX25210 features an open-drain, active-low RESEToutput with fixed thresholds offered at 93.5% and87.5% of the output voltage. The active-low RESET output remainslow for a fixed period of 60μs after the output voltage exceedsits threshold. The active-low RESET delay can be extendedwith an external capacitor.The MAX25210 includes an enable input, short-circuit protection,and thermal shutdown.
