The MAX20733 is a fully integrated, highly efficientswitching regulator for applications operating from 4.5V to16V and requiring up to 35A maximum load. This singlechipregulator provides extremely compact, high-efficiencypower-delivery solutions with high-precision outputvoltages and excellent transient respondse for networking,datacom, and telecom equipment.The IC offers a broad range of programmable featuresthrough capacitors and resistors connected to dedicatedprogramming pins. Using this feature, the operation canbe optimized for a specific application, reducing thecomponent count- and/or setting-appropriate trade-offsbetween the regulator's performance and system cost.Ease of programming enables using the same design formultiple applications.The MAX20733 includes protection capabilities. Positiveand negative cycle-by-cycle overcurrent protection andovertemperature protection ensure a rugged design. Inputundervoltage lockout shuts down the device to preventoperation when the input voltage is out of specification.
