DeepCover® embedded security solutions cloak sensitive data under multiple layers of advanced physical security to provide the most secure key storage possible. The DeepCover Security Manager (DS3655) is a tamper-reactive memory device specifically intended to address the requirements of equipment where data protection and security is critical. The device contains 64 bytes of a proprietary nonimprinting memory that can be erased in less than 100ns. The device contains a temperature sensor, as well as four tamper-detect logic inputs for interface to external sensors, interlocks, or antitamper meshes. Communication is conducted through an I²C-compatible interface.In the event of a primary power failure, an external battery source is automatically switched in to keep the internal memory, elapsed-time counter, and tamper-detection circuitry alive.
