45-W: 15-W dual SEPIC LED driver reference design for automotive lighting

Description

This reference design showcases the TPS92682-Q1 dual-channel LED controller used in an automotive front lighting application with high beam (HB) and low beam (LB): daytime running light (DRL): and position (POS) light functionality. The design uses one TPS92682-Q1 device to implement a single-stage power solution to drive both the HB and LB channel: as well as the DRL and POS functionality with a controller area network (CAN) interface.  This simple design reduces component count and solution size as traditional implementation uses two separate controllers. The TPS92682-Q1 device includes internal and external PWM dimming support for additional flexibility as well as built-in monitoring for fault detection and protection of the continuous LED current. Electromagnetic interference (EMI) filtering is included and designed to meet CISPR-25: Class 5 conduction requirements.
