Description

The TIDA-00477 reference design is a continuous conduction mode boost converter implemented using TI digital power supply controller UCD3138A and with all the necessary protections built-in. TIDA-00477 PFC is designed to improve overall system performance with lower bus ripple: lower bus capacitance: and lower RMS currents than traditional PFC power supplies. In addition: the design provides precise information of the input energy consumption of the unit. Hardware is designed and tested to pass conducted emissions: surge: and EFT as per EN55014 – requirements.
