Contactless AC-Current Sensing Using a Hall Effect Sensor
Description
This reference design uses our hall sensing technology to determine the amount of AC current flowing through a wire without any physical intervention. TIDA-00218 implements a flux concentrator to concentrate the flux around the AC-current carrying wire: rather than letting it escape in air: and then directing that flux to a hall sensor.
