Description

The PMP8824 uses the TPS53318 DCAP Mode 8A step-down converter to power the VCCR_GXB: VCCL_GXB: VCCT_GXB rails in Altera Arria® V FPGAs enabling tight load regulation: low total component count: high efficiency: high power density: and excellent thermal performance. The complete design fits in 0.29 square inches and comes with a complete test report including power up and ENABLE into Short Circuit: Over-Current Thermal Stress: and demonstration of the Redundant OVP feature when the Feedback Node is shorted to GND.
