Qorvo
QPC7331 5 MHz to 834 MHz Variable Cable Slope Equalizer
Qorvo voltage-controlled equalizers are ideal for DOCSIS upstream applications
The Qorvo QPC7331 is a voltage-controlled variable slope equalizer designed for cable loss compensation in broadband networks. Operating from 5 MHz to 834 MHz, it provides an inverse cable loss response with adjustable slope control, making it ideal for DOCSIS 3.1 and 4.0 upstream paths. Built on SOI technology, the device offers high linearity and low insertion loss while maintaining a 75 Ω impedance for CATV systems. Its compact 14-pin SMT package and low power consumption simplify integration into amplifier and transmission designs.
Features:
Operational bandwidth: 5 MHz to 834 MHz
Slope range: 2 dB to 18 dB for cable loss compensation
Low insertion loss: typically 1.7 dB to 2.5 dB at 834 MHz
High linearity: input IP3 up to 50 dBm
Single supply: +5 V operation, low current draw ~3 mA
Applications:
CATV amplifier and transmission systems
DOCSIS 3.1 and DOCSIS 4.0 upstream equalization
Broadband access network infrastructure
Cable TV headend and distribution equipment
