Performance

The Tinker Board S R2.0 series boasts a modern and robust quad-core ARM-based processor, the Rockchip RK3288-CG.W, which delivers superior performance compared to other widely used single-board computer (SBC) boards. Moreover, the board is equipped with an ARM-based Mali-T764 GPU and fixed-function processors, which enable a broad spectrum of applications, including high-fidelity media playback, gaming, computer vision, gesture recognition, image stabilization and processing, computational photography, and many others.

HD Audio Quality

The Tinker Board S R2.0 series comes with an HD codec that facilitates audio of up to 24-bit/192kHz. Furthermore, the board's integrated audio jack supports both audio output and microphone input, eliminating the need for an extension module. The audio jack is designed to detect plug-ins automatically, thus enabling seamless switching of audio output to a speaker or headset upon connection.

Standard Interface for IoT Connectivity

The Tinker Board S R2.0 series provides standard maker connectivity options, such as a 40-pin GPIO interface that facilitates interfacing with various inputs. The board is also equipped with a DSI MIPI connection for displays and touchscreens, as well as a secondary CSI MIPI connection that enables connection to compatible cameras, allowing for computer vision and other applications.

Moreover, the Tinker Board S R2.0 series includes Gbit LAN for seamless Internet and network connectivity. A dedicated bus resource ensures consistent Ethernet performance. The board's integrated Wi-Fi and Bluetooth controller are shielded with a metal cover to minimize interference and enhance radio performance. The inclusion of an integrated IPEX antenna header enables hassle-free antenna replacement or upgrades.

In addition, the Tinker Board S R2.0 series features a full-size HDMI output, along with four USB 2.0 ports that allow for extensive peripheral and accessory connectivity.
