Description

Artisan Controls Corporation has been recognized as the worldwide leader in designing and manufacturing of electronic timers and controllers. Founded by engineers, groomed by the US military, Artisan’s expertise includes the early design and manufacture of complex controllers for test firing secret explosives for the US military at Sandia National Laboratories in New Mexico in the 1960s; controllers for test firing the Engines used by NASA in the Apollo Space program in the 1970s; controllers for industrial machinery, fans, HVAC and elevator systems in the 1980s; controllers for railroad brake and coupling systems and railroad switching heaters in 1990s; and more recently developing solid state controllers for disbursing lubricants on rails in remote locations, Emergency Lighting on US Amtrak passenger cars and state of the art Dimmers for movie theaters and controllers for conveyors and agriculture feed systems.
