Using UCC25710 to design cost effective LED Power
Texas Instruments
PMP6252 is a reference design for 90W LCD TV power by using the UCC28051 to construct PFC: UCC25710 to construct LED driver LLC converter: UCC25600 to construct 5V and 12V converter and UCC28610 to construct standby flyback converter. This driver provides 4 outputs including LED driver: 12.7V 3A: 5V 3A and 5V standby 2A; and has the capability to operate at 90~264Vac.The LED driver is designed using multi-transformer topology by UCC25710 which can improve efficiency: has protection function and decrease component count. A thorough analysis of PFC: LLC: cascade QR flyback operation and performance along with design optimization guidelines are presented. Experimental results obtained on every general condition load are provided.

90 to 290VAC Vin 32W Non-isolated Quasi-Resonant Flyback Reference Design
Texas Instruments
The PMP8697 reference design uses the UCC28610 quasi-resonant flyback controller to generate two non-isolated outputs (12V@1.89A: 15V@0.2A) and one isolated output (15V@0.39A).

The LTC2498 is a 16-channel (8-differential) 24-bit No Latency ??? ADC with Easy Drive technology. The patented sampling scheme eliminates dynamic input current errors and the shortcomings of on-chip buffering through automatic cancellation of differential input current. This allows large external source impedances, and rail-to-rail input signals to be directly digitized while maintaining exceptional DC accuracy. The LTC2498 includes a high accuracy temperature sensor and an integrated oscillator. This device can be configured to measure an external signal (from combinations of 16 analog input channels operating in single ended or differential modes) or its internal temperature sensor. The integrated temperature sensor offers 1/30th ?C resolution and 2?C absolute accuracy. The LTC2498 allows a wide common mode input range (0V to VCC), independent of the reference voltage. Any combination of single-ended or differential inputs can be selected and the first conversion after a new channel is selected is valid. Access to the multiplexer output enables optional external amplifiers to be shared between all analog inputs and auto calibration continuously removes their associated offset and drift.Applications Direct Sensor Digitizer Direct Temperature Measurement Instrumentation Industrial Process Control

Multicell Li-Ion and Li-Pol Battery Gas-Gauge Application Using the bqJunior
Texas Instruments
The bqJuniorâ„¢ series of gas gauges are designed to operate from a single-cell lithium-ion or lithium-polymer battery. Many applications that could benefit from using these gas gauges use two or more lithium cells in series where the battery voltage exceeds the operating voltage for the bqJuniorâ„¢ gas gauges. This application report describes a low-component count solution for using th

Implementing Serial Rapid I/O PCB layout on a TMS320C6455 Hardware Design (Rev. A)
Texas Instruments
This application report contains implementation instructions for the Serial Rapid I/O (SRIO) interface on the TMS320C6455 DSP device. The approach to specifying interface timing and physical requirements for the SRIO interface is quite different than previous approaches for other interfaces.
Serial Rapid I/O is an industry-standard high-speed switched-packet interconnect. Physical layer data t

Uncompressed Digital Video SerDes over Coax for Automotive Mega Pixel CMOS Camera Reference Design
Texas Instruments
The TIDA-00133 reference design is a high speed serial video interface to connect a remote automotive camera module to a display or machine vision processing system. It uses TIs FPD-Link III SerDes technology to transmit uncompressed MegaPixel video data: bidirectional control signals and power either over shielded twisted pair or coax cable. This design incorporates the DS90UB913A-CXEVM and DS90UB914A-CXEVM boards together to create the solution.
