The HMC8364 is a gallium arsenide (GaAs), quadband, monolithic microwave integrated circuit (MMIC), voltage controlled oscillator (VCO) designed to offer wideband frequency capabilities without compromising phase noise performance. The device integrates four independent, narrow-band VCOs with overlapping frequency bands, operating at a fundamental frequency range of 18.10 GHz to 26.60 GHz. The consistent tuning sensitivity across all frequency bands simplifies the synthesizer loop filter design. The tuning port is common to all VCO cores for a simpler design of the phase-locked loop (PLL) feedback path. The HMC8364 also offers a low typical current consumption of 99 mA for power sensitive applications. The HMC8364 integrates resonators, negative resistance devices, and varactor diodes. The monolithic structure of the oscillator offers very low phase noise, optimal temperature stability, and is immune to vibration and process variation. The four VCOs are packaged in a single, 6 mm ? 6 mm, surface-mount lead frame chip scale package (LFCSP), and require no external matching components. Combined with a high frequency, high performance PLL, the ADF41513, the HMC8364 offers a complete RF or microwave frequency generation solution.APPLICATIONS Electronic test and measurement Industrial and medical instrumentation Point to point and multipoint radios Aerospace and defense Wireless communication infrastructure

The ?ADA4433-1 is a differential output, fully integrated video reconstruction filter that combines overvoltage protection (short-to-battery [STB] protection) and short-to-ground (STG) protection on the outputs, with excellent video specifications and low power consumption. The combination of STB protection and robust ESD tolerance allows the ADA4433-1 to provide superior protection in the hostile automotive environment. The ADA4433-1 is a fully differential video filter that can be used as a fully differential input to a differential output or as a single-ended input to a differential output, allowing it to easily connect to both differential and single-ended sources. It is capable of driving twisted pair or coaxial cable with minimal line attenuation. Differential signal processing reduces the effects of ground noise, which can plague ground referenced systems. The ADA4433-1 is ideal for differential signal processing (gain and filtering) throughout the signal chain, simplifying the conversion between single-ended and differential components. The short-to-battery protection integrated into the ADA4433-1 protects against both dc and transient overvoltage events, caused by an accidental short to a battery voltage up to 18 V. The Analog Devices, Inc., short-to-battery protection eliminates the need for large output coupling capacitors and other complicated circuits used to protect standard video amplifiers, saving space and cost. The ADA4433-1 features a high-order filter with ?3 dB cutoff frequency response at 10 MHz and 45 dB of rejection at 27 MHz. The ADA4433-1 featurea an internally fixed gain of 2 V/V. This makes the ADA4433-1 ideal for SD video applications, including NTSC and PAL.The ADA4433-1 operates on single supplies as low as 2.6 V and as high as 3.6 V while providing the dynamic range required by the most demanding video systems. The ADA4433-1 is offered in an 8-lead, 3 mm ? 3 mm LFCSP package, rated for operation over the wide automotive temperature range of ?40?C to +125?C.Appplications Automotive rearview cameras Automotive video electronic control units (ECUs) Surveillance video systems

The LTM2887 is a complete galvanic digital ?Module? (micromodule) isolator. No external components are required. A single 3.3V or 5V supply powers both sides of the interface through an integrated, isolated DC/DC converter. A logic supply pin allows easy interfacing with different logic levels from 1.62V to 5.5V, independent of the main supply.Available options are compliant with SPI and I2C (master mode only) specifications. The isolated side includes two 5V nominal power supplies, including programmable current limit, each capable of providing more than 100mA of load current. The supplies may be adjusted from their nominal value using a single external resistor.Coupled inductors and an isolation power transformer provide 2500VRMS of isolation between the input and output logic interface. This device is ideal for systems where the ground loop is broken, allowing for a large common mode voltage range. Communication is uninterrupted for common mode transients greater than 30kV/?s.Applications Isolated SPI or I2C Interfaces Industrial Systems Test and Measurement Equipment Breaking Ground Loops

Analog Devices Inc.
Demonstration circuit 1401A is an adjustable 500mA linear regulator featuring the LT3085. Architected as a precision current source and voltage follower, the LT3085 can be used in many applications requiring up to 500mA output current, adjustability down to 0V at the output and no heat sink. The device brings out the collector of the pass transistor to allow low dropout operation when used with multiple supplies. The demo board operates with an input voltage range from 1.7V to 25V (the maximum output voltage is limited by the output capacitor's voltage rating) and provides a jumper-selectable output voltage of 1.2V, 1.8V, 2.5V, 3.3V, 5V or a user-defined value. For the LT3085 to regulate properly, the voltage on the control pin (VCONTROL) must be more than approximately 1.2V greater than the output voltage.

330mW AC or DC Tiny Flyback Converter Power Supply Reference Design
Texas Instruments
The main purpose of the power supply is to convert the rectified AC Input to DC regulated current for 6 LEDs. The power supply provides protection for the LEDs: limits the transient input voltage and protect against inrush current at plug in. The overall power supply conformity (e.g. mains harmonics (EN): mains interference: international safety standards etc.) are not approved for all the applicable European Norms (EN).This application note describes the design of a tiny AC or DC Flyback power supply. Its main purpose is to convert the rectified AC or DC Input to DC regulated output voltage. The power supply provides protection for this supply voltage: isolates the rest of the network from the output: limits the transient input voltage and protects against inrush current at plug in. The board fully complies to the EN55022 norm (Conductive average) and international safety standards. The secondary side is regulated at 3.3V. The controller is switching with a fixed frequency of 250 kHz. The heart of the power supply is the controller LM3481 current mode PWM from National Semiconductor. The advantage of the proposed solution is using a standard off the shelf transformer: small solution size and high ambient operating temperature up to 85C (105C possible).Based on the presented solution higher output power up to several Watt can also be achieved using the LM3481.
