ADL5902-EVALZ
Analog Devices Inc.
The ADL5902 is a true rms responding power detector that hasa 65 dB measurement range when driven with a single-ended 50 ? source. This feature makes the ADL5902 frequencyversatile by eliminating the need for a balun or any other form of external input tuning for operation up to 9 GHz.The ADL5902 provides a solution in a variety of high frequencysystems requiring an accurate measurement of signal power. Requiring only a single supply of 5 V and a few capacitors, it is easy to use and capable of being driven single-ended or with abalun for differential input drive. The ADL5902 can operate from 50 MHz to 9 GHz and can accept inputs from ?62 dBm to at least +3 dBm with large crest factors, such as GSM, CDMA,W-CDMA, TD-SCDMA, WiMAX, and LTE modulated signals. The ADL5902 can determine the true power of a high frequency signal having a complex low frequency modulation envelope or can be used as a simple low frequency rmsvoltmeter. Used as a power measurement device, VOUT isconnected to VSET. The output is then proportional to thelogarithm of the rms value of the input. In other words, thereading is presented directly in decibels and is scaled 1.06 V per decade, or 53 mV/dB; other slopes are easily arranged. In controller mode, the voltage applied to VSET determines thepower level required at the input to null the deviation from the set point. The output buffer can provide high load currents. The ADL5902 has 1.5 mW power consumption when powereddown by a logic high applied to the PWDN pin. It powers up within approximately 5 ?s to its nominal operating current of 73 mA at 25?C. The ADL5902 is supplied in a 4 mm ? 4 mm,16-lead LFCSP for operation over the wide temperature rangeof ?40?C to +125?C.The ADL5902 is also pin-compatible with the AD8363, 50 dBdynamic range TruPwr? detector. This feature allows the designer to create one circuit layout for projects requiring different dynamic ranges. A fully populated RoHS-compliant evaluation board is available.Applications Power amplifier linearization/control loops Transmitter power controls Transmitter signal strength indication (TSSI) RF instrumentation

Primary-Side Regulated Flyback for Universal AC Input and 15V/0.25A Output Reference Design
Texas Instruments
The PMP9171 reference design uses the UCC28910 primary-side regulated flyback controller with integrated MOSFET to generate a 15V/0.25A output from an univeral AC input with safety isolation rated transformer. 80% efficiency is achieved at full load and less than 130mW power consumption is observed during no load condition.
Comparator with Hysteresis Reference Design
Texas Instruments
Comparator with Hysteresis Reference Design
Texas Instruments
This TI Verified Design implements a comparator with hysteresis. Comparators are used to differentiate between two different signal levels. For example: a comparator may differentiate between an over temperature and normal temperature condition. Noise or signal variation at the comparison threshold will cause multiple transitions. Hysteresis sets an upper and lower threshold to eliminate the multiple transitions caused by noise.

The ADL5375 is a broadband quadrature modulator designed for operation from 400 MHz to 6 GHz. Its excellent phase accuracy and amplitude balance enable high performance intermediate frequency or direct radio frequency modulation for communication systems. The ADL5375 features a broad baseband bandwidth, along with an output gain flatness that varies no more than 1 dB from 450 MHz to 3.8 GHz. These features, coupled with a broadband output return loss of 14 dB, make the ADL5375 ideally suited for broadband zero IF or low IF-to-RF applications, broadband digital predistortion transmitters, and multiband radio designs. The ADL5375 accepts two differential baseband inputs and a single-ended LO. It generates a single-ended 50 ? output. The two versions offer input baseband bias levels of 500 mV (ADL5375-05) and 1500 mV (ADL5375-15).The ADL5375 is fabricated using an advanced silicon-germanium bipolar process. It is available in a 24-lead, exposed paddle, Pb-free, LFCSP_VQ package. Performance is specified over a ?40?C to +85?C temperature range. A Pb-free evaluation board is also available.Applications Cellular communication systems GSM/EDGE, CDMA2000, W-CDMA, TD-SCDMA WiMAX/broadband wireless access systems Satellite modems

The AD7745/AD7746 are a high resolution, ?-? capacitance-to-digital converter (CDC). The capacitance to be measured is connected directly to the device inputs. The architecture fea-tures inherent high resolution (24-bit no missing codes, up to 21-bit effective resolution), high linearity (?0.01%), and high accuracy (?4 fF factory calibrated). The AD7745/AD7746 capacitance input range is ?4 pF (changing), while it can accept up to 17 pF common-mode capacitance (not changing), which can be balanced by a programmable on-chip, digital-to-capacitance converter (CAPDAC). The AD7745 has one capacitance input channel, while the AD7746 has two channels. Each channel can be configured as single-ended or differential. The AD7745/AD7746 are designed for floating capacitive sensors. For capacitive sensors with one plate connected to ground, the AD7747 is recommended. The parts have an on-chip temperature sensor with a resolution of 0.1?C and accuracy of ?2?C. The on-chip voltage reference and the on-chip clock generator eliminate the need for any external components in capacitive sensor applications. The parts have a standard voltage input, which together with the differential reference input allows easy interface to an external temperature sensor, such as an RTD, thermistor, or diode. The AD7745/AD7746 have a 2-wire, I2C-compatible serial interface. Both parts can operate with a single power supply from 2.7 V to 5.25 V. They are specified over the automotive temperature range of ?40?C to +125?C and are housed in a 16-lead TSSOP package. LT3988EMSE Demo Board I 7V ≤ VIN ≤60V, VOUT1 = 5V @ 1A, VOUT2 = 3.3V @ 1A
Analog Devices Inc.
Demonstration circuit 1677A is a dual 60V monolithic 1A step-down regulator featuring the LT3988. The demo board operates from inputs up to 60V. The outputs are 5V, 1A and 3.3V, 1A. The wide input range of the LT3988 allows a variety of input sources, such as commercial vehicle batteries and industrial supplies. The switching frequency can be programmed either via oscillator resistor or external clock over a 250kHz to 2.5MHz range. The LT3988 internal boost diodes and loop compensation reduce the components count and solution size. The current mode control scheme creates fast transient response and good loop stability. The EN/UVLO pin can be used to set the part in micropower shutdown mode, reducing the supply current to less than 2μA.
