Power Mode Settings Within the TMS470
Texas Instruments
The TMS470 family of ARM7 microcontrollers has four modes of operation: Standby Idle Halt and Run. The device starts in Run mode and the other three are considered low-power modes. Additional power savings are available by disabling the flash memory. This application report explains how to change into the low-power modes and how to disable and enable the flash. This application report also de

30A SIMPLE SWITCHER® Power Module with 3 to 14.5V Reference Design with PMBus
Texas Instruments
The reference design PMP9464 utilizes the LMZ31530: a 30A SIMPLE SWITCHER® Power Module. The LMZ31530 SIMPLE SWITCHER® power module is an easy-to-use integrated power solution that combines a 30-A DC/DC converter with power MOSFETs: a shielded inductor: and passives into a low profile: QFN package. This design has a LM25056 on the front end. The LM25056 combines high performance analog and digital technology with a PMBus compliant SMBus/I2C interface to accurately measure the operating conditions of electrical systems including computing and storage blades connected to a backplane power bus. This allows the user to monitor the real time values of Vin: Iin: Pin and Pout; as well as temperature and peak power. These values are reported via PMBus™/SMBus™/I2C.PMP9464 also enables the user to margin the output voltage setting: by slewing it up or down. This is done with the LM10011 VID programmable current DAC. The LP2951 supplies a 3.3V rail for the LM3881 power sequencer. The LM3881 sequencer can be used for sequencing other off board power supplies.

LT3645EMSE Demo Board | VIN = 5V to 36V, VOUT1 = 3.3V @ 300mA, VOUT2= 2.5V @ 200mA
Analog Devices Inc.
Demonstration circuit 1428A features the dual output LT3645 step-down regulator plus linear regulator. The circuit is designed to convert a 5V to 36V (55V transients) input source to 3.3V at 500mA using the buck regulator and this output is linear regulated down to provide 2.5V at 200mA. Thus the two outputs provide 300mA (buck) and 200mA (LDO).

ADM7171CP-EVALZ
Analog Devices Inc.
The ADM7171 is a CMOS, low dropout linear regulator (LDO) that operates from 2.3 V to 6.5 V and provides up to 1 A of output current. This high output current LDO is ideal for regulation of high performance analog and mixed signal circuits operating from 6 V down to 1.2 V rails. Using an advanced proprietary architecture, the device provides high power supply rejection and low noise, and achieves excellent line and load transient response with just a small 4.7 ?F ceramic output capacitor. Load transient response is typically 1.5 ?s for a 1 mA to 500 mA load step. The ADM7171 is available in 17 fixed output voltage options. The following voltages are available from stock: 1.3 V, 1.8 V, 2.5 V, 3.0 V, 3.3 V, 4.2 V, and 5.0 V. Additional voltages that are available by special order are: 1.5 V, 1.85 V, 2.0 V, 2.2 V, 2.7 V, 2.75 V, 2.8 V, 2.85 V, 3.8 V, and 4.6 V. An adjustable version is also available that allows output voltages that range from 1.2 V to VIN ? VDO with an external feedback divider.Inrush current can be controlled by adjusting the start-up time via the soft start pin. The typical start-up time with a 1 nF soft start capacitor is 1.0 ms.The ADM7171 regulator output noise is 5 ?V rms independent of the output voltage. The ADM7171 is available in an 8-lead, 3 mm ? 3 mm LFCSP, making it not only a very compact solution, but also providing excellent thermal performance for applications requiring up to 1 A of output current in a small, low profile footprint.Applications Regulation to noise sensitive applications: ADC and DAC circuits, precision amplifiers, PLLs/VCOs, and clocking ICs Communications and infrastructure Medical and healthcare Industrial and instrumentation

CC1101-CC1190EM 869 MHz Reference Design
Texas Instruments
The CC1101-CC1190EM 869MHz reference design contains schematics and layout files for the CC1101-CC1190EM 869MHz evaluation module. The reference design demonstrates good techniques for CC1101-CC1190 decoupling and RF layout. For optimum RF performance: these parts should be copied accurately. This is a 4-layer reference design with a discrete balun and an SMA antenna connector designed for a single ended 50 ohm antenna. The RF section has been designed and characterized for operation in the 869.4 - 869.65 MHz frequency sub-band (g3): but can also be used for other frequencies in the European 863 - 870 MHz band.
