The LT3430/LT3430-1 are monolithic buck switching regulators that accept input voltages up to 60V. A high efficiency 3A, 0.1? switch is included on the die along with all the necessary oscillator, control and logic circuitry. A current mode architecture provides fast transient response and excellent loop stability.Special design techniques and a new high voltage process achieve high efficiency over a wide input range. Efficiency is maintained over a wide output current range by using the output to bias the circuitry and by utilizing a supply boost capacitor to saturate the power switch. Patented circuitry* maintains peak switch current over the full duty cycle range. A shutdown pin reduces supply current to 30?A and a SYNC pin can be externally synchronized with a logic level input from 228kHz to 700kHz for the LT3430 or from 125kHz to 250kHz for the LT3430-1.The LT3430/LT3430-1 are available in a thermally enhanced 16-pin TSSOP package.Applications Industrial and Automotive Power Supplies Portable Computers Battery Chargers Distributed Power Systems

The LTC1643A is a Hot Swap? controller that allows a board to be safely inserted and removed from a live PCI-Bus slot. Two external N-channel transistors control the 3.3V and 5V supplies while on-chip switches control the ?12V and 12V supplies. All supply voltages can be ramped up at a programmable rate. An electronic circuit breaker protects all four supplies against overcurrent faults. The foldback current limit feature limits current spikes and power dissipation when shorts occur and allows boards with large capacitances to be powered up without tripping the circuit breaker. The PWRGD output indicates when all of the supply voltages are within tolerance and the FAULT output indicates an overcurrent condition. The ON(LTC1643AH)/ON (LTC1643AL/ LTC1643AL-1) pin is used to cycle the board power or reset the circuit breaker. The LTC1643AL-1 has the ?12V power good comparators disabled. The LTC1643A is available in a 16-pin narrow SSOP package.Applications PCI-Based Servers CompactPCI Compliant Boards

The LTC2672 is a family of five-channel, 12-/16-bit current source, digital-to-analog converters (DACs) that provide five high compliance, current source outputs with guaranteed 0.6 V dropout at 200 mA. There are eight current ranges that are programmable per channel with full-scale outputs of up to 300 mA. The channels can be paralleled to allow either ultrafine adjustments of large currents or combined outputs of up to 1.5 A. A dedicated supply pin is provided for each output channel. Each channel can be operated from 2.1 V to VCC, and internal switches allow any output to be pulled to the optional negative supply. The LTC2672 includes a precision integrated 1.25 V reference (10 ppm/?C maximum), with the option to use an external reference. The serial peripheral interface (SPI)-compatible, 3?wire serial interface operates on logic levels as low as 1.71 V and at clock rates as high as 50 MHz.Note that throughout this data sheet, multifunction pins, such as CS/LD, are referred to by the entire pin name or by a single function of the pin.APPLICATIONS Tunable lasers Semiconductor optical amplifier biasing Resistive heaters Current mode biasing

The LTC6602 is a dual, matched, programmable bandpass or lowpass filter and differential driver. The selectivity of the LTC6602, combined with its phase matching and dynamic range, make it ideal for filtering in RFID systems. With two degree phase matching between channels, the LTC6602 can be used in applications requiring highly matched filters, such as transceiver I and Q channels. Gain programmability, and the fully differential inputs and outputs, simplify implementation in most systems. Both channels of the LTC6602 consist of a programmable lowpass and highpass filter. For bandpass functionality, the lowpass filters are programmed for the upper cutoff frequency. For lowpass functionality, the highpass filters can be bypassed. The filter cutoff frequencies can be set with a guaranteed accuracy of 3% with the use of a single resistor. Alternatively, the filter cutoff frequencies can be controlled with an external clock. The LTC6602 operates on a single 2.7V to 3.6V supply and features a low power shutdown mode.Applications Multiprotocol RFID Readers: EPC-GEN2, ISD and IPX IDEN, PHS, GSM Basestations Repeaters, Radio Links, and Modems Wireless Telemetry JTRS

Demonstration circuit 3064A features PolyPhase® design using the LTM4650AEY-1, the high efficiency, high density, dual 25A, switch mode step-down power μModule® regulator. The input voltage is from 4.5V to 16V. The output voltage is jumper selectable from 1.0V to 5.1V. DC3064A can deliver nominal 200A output current. As explained in the data sheet, output current derating is necessary for certain VIN, VOUT, and thermal conditions. The LTM4650A-1 on DC3064A always operates in continuous conduction mode. The switching frequency can be programmed through a resistor or can be synchronized to an external clock signal. The board allows the user to program how its output voltage ramps up and down through the TRACK pin. The output voltage is tightly regulated between "VO+" and "VO–" through remote output voltage sensing which improves output voltage regulation at heavy loads. These features and the availability of the LTM4650AEY-1 in a compact 16mm × 16mm × 5.01mm BGA package make it ideal for use in many high density point-of-load regulation applications. The ADL5566 is a high performance, dual differential amplifier optimized for IF and dc applications. The amplifier offers low noise of 1.3 nV/?Hz and excellent distortion performance over a wide frequency range, making it an ideal driver for high speed 16-bit analog-to-digital converters (ADCs). The ADL5566 is ideally suited for use in high performance, zero IF/complex IF receiver designs. In addition, this device has excellent low distortion for single-ended input drive applications. The ADL5566 provides a gain of 16 dB. In addition, this device maintains low distortion down to output (VOCM) levels of 1.2 V providing an added capability for driving CMOS ADCs at ac levels up to 2 V p-p.The quiescent current of the ADL5566, using a 3.3 V supply, is typically 70 mA per amplifier. When disabled, it consumes less than 3.5 mA per amplifier and has ?25 dB of input to output isolation at 100 MHz.The device is optimized for wideband, low distortion, and noise performance, giving it unprecedented performance for overall spurious-free dynamic range (SFDR). These attributes, together with the adjustable gain capability, make this device the amplifier of choice for driving a wide variety of ADCs, mixers, pin diode attenuators, SAW filters, and multi-element discrete devices.Fabricated on an Analog Devices, Inc., high speed SiGe process, the ADL5566 is supplied in a compact 4 mm ? 4 mm, 24-lead LFCSP package and operates over the ?40?C to +85?C temperature range.Applications Differential ADC drivers Single-ended to differential conversion RF/IF gain blocks SAW filter interfacing

The LT3491 is a fixed frequency step-up DC/DC converter specifically designed to drive up to six white LEDs in series from a Li-Ion cell. Series connection of the LEDs provides identical LED currents resulting in uniform brightness and eliminating the need for ballast resistors. The device features a unique high side LED current sense that enables the part to function as a ?one wire current source;? one side of the LED string can be returned to ground anywhere, allowing a simpler one wire LED connection. Traditional LED drivers use a grounded resistor to sense LED current, requiring a 2-wire connection to the LED string. The 2.3MHz switching frequency allows the use of tiny inductors and capacitors. A single pin performs both shutdown and accurate LED dimming control. Few external components are needed: open-LED protection and the Schottky diode are all contained inside the tiny SC70 package. With such a high level of integration, the LT3491 provides a high efficiency LED driver solution in the smallest of spaces.Applications Cellular Phones PDAs, Handheld Computers Digital Cameras MP3 Players GPS Receivers
